So I was hanging around today, and I happened to watch the Phoenix Philadelphia game in Cologne Germany. For those who didnt get a chance to see it the sixers came back from 22 down to win it 103-100. One of the players leading that come back, and the player who drilled the 3 pointer to put the sixers ahead for good, was Rodney Carney. The draft is over and done, and we passed on Carney for project O'Bryant, but I couldnt help but wonder, why didnt we grab an athletic small foward who can defend the 1-3 positions. We all know the Warriors struggle at the Sf position, Dunleavy isnt playing there anymore, and even if MP2 is solid we have no reliable backup. So now Im asking the GSoM community, would you rather have Patrick, the chef, cheese cake cooking, pine-riding, duckduck goose playing, O'Bryant, or that the Warriors had picked Rodney, ready to contribute, hyper athletic, decent shooting touch, good defender, Carney? I know this is pretty much beating the issue to death, but seeing Carney play in a nba(preaseason) game and do well, made me wonder who is going to be the better player in the future.
