Even though the Warriors lost another close one to the Nuggets in their UCLA wannabe away jerseys this past Wednesday at The Oracle Arena, Warriors Nation still has a lot to be thankful for. Let's hope the fellas didn't eat too much turkey and stuffing last night because they're going to need all the energy they can muster up to avoid getting run in that Mile High altitude.
The only reason the Warriors were able to stay in the game last time around against the Nuggets was the impressive turnovers (Jason Richardson with 4 steals, Baron Davis and Monta Ellis with 3 each, and Andris Biedrins had an impressive 7 block effort). It's tough to bank on that same intensity and results on the road especially in the Mile High City. This game is going to come down to the glass which has been a major problem for the Warriors pretty much the whole season. Ike Diogu is out tonight, so it's not going to get any easier against the Nuggets' front line this evening. Still, it's time to bust out a bottle of this...
Vegas Odds: Nuggets favored by 4
- Warriors by 1 (if you've been following GSoM since last year, you know what I really mean when I say "Warriors by 1")
- JRich has a season high 25+ points
- Adonal Foyle plays 10+ minutes
- Melo goes for 30+ points
- Marcus Camby, Reggie Evans, and Carmelo Anthony dominate the boards once again
