Nelson's rotation

Recently it has become apparent that Nelson's rotation is becoming very short.  At first glance, you would think that this is due to injuries and that very well may play a big part in it.  But Nelson, if you have followed his career, generally likes a short rotation and loves to play "his guys" heavy minutes.

My question is this:  What is going to happen to the rotation when baron, ike, and mickael come back?  Barnes is a superstar now, dunleavy is playing well... looks like mcleod will move to the bench...but with 9 quality players(baron, jr, monta,  mickael, beans, barnes, dunleavy, ike, murphy) on the team, is he gonna open up the rotation and play em all a little bit? or is he going to regulate some?

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

He doesn't like Ike, he has Dun on a leash so if he f's up he doesn't play (sorry Mullin!) and that leaves him with 7.  Nellie's smart, he knows we're never gonna have all our players, and wants our team to be comfortable with injuries and not fear them so much.  Hey, its worked so far.

As a matter of fact
he likes Dunleavy a lot, and I have heard him on interviews when he has said that he is most comfortable when Dunleavy is in the game because he knows where to be, what to do and doesn't screw up the defense or offense.  He likes Diogu a lot also, I think you are referring to the training session when he was complaining that Ike won't play until he learns the plays, but that changed after the season started, that doesn't mean that Ike will play a lot against certain teams, Nellie plays match ups and Ike doesn't match up well against certain teams.  He  is not a run and gun player.

THE answer
Been gone for a few weeks now (damn you work!) but I come back with this one: we need only one man on this team.

Nellie's smart enough to know
that we won big games with Baron and pietrus out so he'll still use barnes and mikey when DizzleandAirFrance return. Nine or ten players bringing it are better than 7 bringing it, we can outrun more teams if we have more depth.

Nellie will still use a short rotation.
I think he will play only a few guys based on matchups and how they are performing in the game. How many times have certain players only gotten a few minutes in the first half, but not returned in the second half? Nellie knows what he wants out of his team.

certain players for certain situations
first off, barnes is not a superstar. but as far as the rotation goes, it's a nice problem to have enough quality guys to fill spots. if one player isn't performing, then there's a capable guy on the bench. that was seen with ellis and mcleod against the spurs. i don't really care who plays as long as we keep winning.

Will Nellie let a guy play ?
in a headband? If so maybe we can work out a deal for BenWallace, I see his coach benched him for trying to play comfortable!

No on Wallace.
Honestly what can Ben do for our team? He's almost like Adonal. They can give you defense but can't score. I'm happy with the big man we got right now...Ben is very overrated. The only reason he is what he is, is the Detroit Pistons. Without em' your seeing the same old Ben Wallace who underachieved in Washington. Pau Gasol would make more sense to me. But everyone knows that has about a .00000001 percent chance of happening.
