The Warriors and Kings are reported to be among the Western Conference teams bidding for Iverson, along with Boston, Indiana and Orlando in the East. Any potential deal involving Golden State likely would include Jason Richardson or Monta Ellis, unless the Warriors offered to swap point guards (Baron Davis).
All three players, JR, Monta, and Boom Dizzle, are popular with Warriors fans. If the Warriors do move one of them for Allen Iverson I can imagine there being some frustrated fans even though the Dubs would have a future hall of famer on their squad.
From a marketing standpoint, do you think it would be a net positive if the Warriors had to move one of these favorites for AI?
