With all the Iverson talk going on, ESPN dropped a piece regarding other players that are on the block right now, including our own Troy Murphy
Murphy is clearly at the front of Golden State's available list. The issue remains finding a new home for Murphy's contract, which has four seasons to go after this one at a tidy $42.3 million. What to do with Murph? I don't know how much of a future he has with Nelly. As versatile a big man as he is, Troy isn't exactly the model up-tempo player. The rumor mill has indicated Chicago as the team most interested in Murphy, are there any players from Chicago we could realistically acquire? Do we even want to trade Murph right now? If we could somehow swindle Chicago into giving up expiring contracts and their draft pick (probably not happening) I would go for it. Aside from that let the trade machine scenarios begin!
