I've been watching W's games on TV since 1989 and I think Jim Barnett is one of the best color guys in any sport. But dude really wants the Warriors to trade 2 for 1 at the end the quarter. In a serious way. I know this because he's said it at the end of every quarter of every game he's broadcasted in the last 17 years (at least).
I agree with him by the way, but you know how they have the "keys to the game"? Maybe he could just kind of go over it in the beginning of the game in summary form instead of saying the same things over and over again. Kind of as a loyalty reward for those of us who watch him every game of every season. Something like this:
- Always trade 2 for 1.
- Ride the hot hand. "If a guy's hot, I'd just keep going to him".
- Smaller man should always drive the big man guarding him on the perimeter.
- (And this is Fitz's fault) Airball always goes to the offense (which isn't true).
- Exploit the mismatch.
6. "If a play works then I'd keep going to it and over again until they prove they can stop it".
I agree with most of these too. I'm sure there's more too, this is just off the top of my head.
