Now, that it's July 1st the Warriors are in a much better situation to pull off a trade. That isn't to say that they're in a great position with those ridiculous contracts and overrated talent, but with Mike Dunleavy losing his poison pill status and becoming a base year compensation contract as well as Troy Murphy and Jason Richardson losing their base year status, trades are going to be easier to make.
If you think the Warriors are the only ones desperate to make some trades, don't forget that a lot of other teams are desperate as well. Here's a quick list of some players who will most likely be traded and moved via a sign-and-trade this offseason:
- Allen Iverson
- Darius Miles
- Zack Randolph
- Kenyon Martin
- Al Harrington
- Corey Maggette
- Jamaal Magloire
- Carlos Boozer
In other words, it's going dooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnn.
