100,000 and Counting...

This is a big THANK YOU to all of our readers. We hit the 100,000 total visitor mark today and just wanted to express our appreciation to everyone. Every day Site Meter counts up how many visitors come to the site on each day. Since February 1st, when we switched to Golden State of Mind, we've accumulated 100,000 visits. It's a huge mark for us to hit, and we look forward to the next 100,000.

As always, we wouldn't be writing if none of you were around to read our articles or leave comments to create this community we're trying to create. So thank you to you all for coming back day after day to check out the latest Warrior news, hype, rumors, humor, science, history, and fashion. If you haven't created an account yet, we'd love for you to create an account and join the fun by posting comments and/or a diary. Here are some posting tips. Anyways, keep reading, keep commenting, and keep making those awesome diaries.

Our goal for this site is to raise enough money, currently through ads, to buy season tickets and share those tickets with all of you. We know how hard it is to scrape up enough money to go to a game, so we want to make that a little easier for our loyal readers. One day, we'll make it happen. We're crossing our fingers that it will happen next year when the Yi Movement comes to the Bay.

We all share the same passion for our Warriors, and one day it will pay off. On that note, make sure to send in your entry for the GSoM Contest: America's Next Biggest Warriors Fan. We want to know why you love the Warriors even though they've missed the playoffs the last 12 seasons.

Once again, thank you for making this site a success.

And for some fun, JRich's winning dunk from the '02 Dunk Contest. I never get tired watching this one. Make sure to turn up the volume to hear Kenny, Magic, and Reggie eat their words:

Much appreciated
Thanks to the entire community. You guys are what make this fun.

Watch out for the Golden State of Mind fan section at Arena representing Warriors Nation and the Yay Area to the fullest in the near future!

Hopefully by 2k9 we'll all be sitting together mid-court with floor level seats at a NBA Finals game between our beloved Golden State Warriors and some random Eastern Conference team that we knock out in a phenomenal Game 7 on a spinning, fade-away, buzzer beating 3 pointer by superstar Jason Richardson!

I love this site
i am a fairly new reader and i gotta say i love reading just about everything.  weeks ago i was sitting around wondering how can i share my thoughts about my team's 12 year struggle with several other people with shared interests?  then my prayers were answered.  I look foward to watching us make the playoffs, some day
Well theres always next year x12

HA!
first guy: "I don't think the throw in the air is gonna do it"
second guy: "no, no, everybody's seen it"

seconds later...

everyone: "oh, ooooooooooooh. something WE HAVE NOT seen!"

J Rich learned 'em good.

brings tears to my eyes
I still think the greatest dunk JRich ever pulled was the 360 between the legs over the head that he didn't pull off. the ball went in and out and he should have won. I still consider that the greatest dunk ever!

As I always say ... thanks to our readers and please ...

Just wanted to add
Spread the word!

The faster this site grows, the more quality content we all put up together (articles, diaries, comments), the faster we can buy some season tickets and create a section in the arena for the GSoM community. Hopefully Larry Ellison is the owner by then, so we don't have to hand over all that green to the greedy and inept Cohan and Rowell.

Unlike other the big media sites, this isn't a business for us. We're passionate fans trying to have "a great time out". Call us the Green Bay Packers (community owned) of Warrior sites.

Right on...
Congratulations!

Thanks for helping pass the time at my soul-crushing desk job.

I should be hitting 100,000 sometime in 2010, when the Warriors are back in the playoffs.

Keep it up.

Can't Wait
Like FoyledAgain I'm fairly new to the site.  I just keep thinking if it's this entertaining now, wait until the season starts when something actually happens.  I mean, if 27 straight posts about how the Warriors might be getting Al Harrington are entertaining... I can't wait.
