Here's some breaking news for the stylish GSoM community. Nike is set to re-release the original Nike Penny 1's in their original black colorway. In 1995 these were nice like a Shawn Kemp tomahawk jam. In 2006 they're nice like a Dwight Howard putback dunk. They will never go out of style. Check out the retro freshness:

On a side note, isn't it funny that Penny Hardaway's original signature kicks and the Lil' Penny marketing campaign have more of a lasting influence than his legacy on the hardwood? Knee and ankle injuries are terrible- just ask Penny, Grant Hill, and CWebb.
