Damon Bruce says this is a critical part of the season and if the Warriors cannot pull things together soon, knowing their history, expect the very worst - so that it may be too late before JRich comes back. Bruce says the Warriors right now have only four legitimate NBA pedigree players: Baron Davis, Biedrins, Ellis, and maybe Pietrus ( JRich being out). He calls Dunleavy and Murphy : "DunMurphy" and says they are NOT NBA players and they should've been traded a long time ago because NOONE would pay their salaries for what they bring to the table. Maybe if they were ONE person it would be a different story. He referred to Nellie saying "Dunleavy is what he is" a major disappointment and how Murph is in the doghouse because of his injuries and lack of speed.
Bruce reiterated the Warriors not being able to trade for the talented but mercurial Artest or the future Hall of Famer Allen Iverson. If the Ws could not trade for talent before, they definitely cannot unload DunMurphy now. He said if the Warriors ever traded for KG, the team would be so talent-depleted that KG would probably be worse off here than in Minnesota. Bruce would probably agree with Atma Bro 1 in that it's not Nellies fault with Mullin Higgins assembling a mismatched and talent-less team who are basically hot and cold streak shooters. With only four legit NBA players, if injuries occur (a Warrior tradition) they would have a lot less talent to survive and compete than other NBA teams.
Bruce said Pietrus can also be a player and he's improving a lot under Nellie before he got hurt again. Nellie should play Ike Diogu because he's not afraid to bang and can help the team more than the fruitless minutes DunMurphy and the inconsistent Foyle bring.
