Warriors Bring Up Renaldo Major from NBDL

Stay connected for news and updates

Short on bodies, Don Nelson and the Warriors have brought up Renaldo Major of the Dakota Wizards from the NBDL. Let's hope Nellie can work some more of his NBDL magic. Jonathan Givony has a nice scouting report on Major for DraftExpress:

Major is a 6-7 swingman with good athletic ability and very nice scoring instincts from inside the 3-point arc. He's 24 years old, and seems to have improved rapidly from his collegiate days at Fresno State, where he only averaged 10.7 points per game in a senior year that was cut short by a season-ending suspension. He ironically was cut once by the D-League already, and has spent time in both the USBL and CBA. This year he's averaging 18 points per game, 4.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists on 54% shooting from the field playing with the Dakota Wizards. A true "rags to riches" story, the kind that makes the D-League special.

Renaldo's got major game.

Any bets Nellie starts journeyman Matt Barnes with NBDLer's Kelenna Azubuike, Renaldo Major, and Patrick O'Bryant tonight against the Clips? (Isn't it sad that the Warriors' lottery pick is now an NBDL callup?)
