Thanks and So Long, POB

Poor Patrick O'Bryant.  Used and thrown away like a tissue.  Yep, they are sending him back to the Jam.

I guess we should have seen it coming, but you have to feel for the guy.  If there is one place worse than Indiana, it's Bakersfield.

With Foyle and POB both appearing as dissapointments to Don Nelson, could the next hole to fill be a back-up center?  I'm sure we still need to see how the new guys effect the game over the next few weeks (before Feb 22), but I'm guessing it is being talked about.

What do you think about POB?
He needs time, but he will eventually be incredible.

He is a good center, but not a fit for Nellie-ball.

He's a bust.

scandalous...
there were a couple of moments during the last game, on the radio broadcast, when the announcers started getting excited about POB blocking shots and showing promise.  hopefully he'll make it back to the team.

He did
a nice job against the Clips, but Nellie didn't play him all that much (even with 7 people). I hope he comes back soon.

As for backup center....FOYLE! Duh!

Foyle and Pietrus

Ready for Saturday.

Also in there, Murph and Dun expected to start for the Pacers, and Monta retains his starting spot.

Hmm
I heard it was gonna be

C-Biedrins
PF-Harrington
SF-That French Guy
SG-Eddie Murphy
PG-Brad Davis

But Adonal Foyle is ready?!?!?! HOT DOG!

I'd prefer Monta
on the start actually.

Since he has been in the system and should otherwise run the offense outside of ill-advised turnovers.

Throwing the two new guys into the starting lineup might have them play under their old system just out of habit.

Also Monta had a big 1st quarter the last game before butterfingering it up.

See you soon...
Not "so long." Have a little patience, boys. O'Bryant will never be "incredible," but he may yet be a useful player on this team.
