The Nazr Rumors won't die
It looks like the Warriors front office is indeed talking about getting another big man.
This from the CC Times today:
... Detroit has inquired about Warriors combo guard Monta Ellis, recently acquired point guard Sarunas Jasikevicius, swingman Mickael Pietrus and forward Matt Barnes....
The Warriors need inside help now that forwards Troy Murphy and Ike Diogu play for Indiana. Adonal Foyle is the only true big man remaining behind starting center Andris Biedrins.
However, the Warriors might not be willing to absorb Mohammed's contract, which has four years and $25 million remaining after this season, or part with one of their perimeter players just yet. Warriors executive vice president of basketball operations Chris Mullin said Wednesday he wants to use the month or so remaining before the Feb. 22 trade deadline to evaluate his new roster.
It sounds like Mohammed is a dissapointment to the Pistons, can't play small-ball, but he has been known to step up in the clutch. Above all other causes for concern in Warrior-land, he has a heavy contract.
I can't believe that the Warriors would even consider giving up Ellis for this guy. Must be wishful thinking on the part of Detroit.

What in the world???
Why a center
nazr could be a nice pickup
the depth charts seems to be
pg: Baron, saurunas
sg: Jackson, Ellis
sf: Pietrus (will back up richardson when hes back)
Pf: Harrington, Barnes, Powell
C; Biendrins, Foyle
nazr could play both pf and center which is nice
barnes isnt very good lately, maybe the pressure got to him

I think
how about
for
dice, nazr and davis.
davis would never get off the bench, he's an expiring too. I don't know if this works but i'm putting it out there.
I also wouldn't mind seeing AK 47 in blue. If the asking price wasn't too much and if Utah would take Foyle off our hands, then i'm down.
Foyle
Lets look at the company he is in for "longest active streak of a player on one team"
- Kevin Garnett, 12 years
- Kobe Bryant, 11 years
(T) 3. Adonal Foyle, 10 years
(T) 5. Zyundras Ilgauskas, 9 years
(T) 5. Dirk Nowitzki, 9 years
(T) 5. Paul Pierce, 9 years
Not bad company, no?
At worst he is a Big Z.
