Fitz Interviews Kelenna Azubuike

http://media.knbr.com/knbr/1011azubuike.mp3

Entertaining interview by Bob Fitzgerald. I thought I'd post the link for those that don't check KNBR's site. Fitz is so much better than everyone else at KNBR. Also, I agree with Jim Barnett that it was important Kelenna got the start on Monday. It's going to be interesting to see how Kelenna and Marco vie for the 2 spot. And then you've got to figure in Monta's playing time as well.

He's going to
help our rebounding alot. I think he can get as many boards as Jason did.

ooh maan
Yeah I noticed that too. He doesn't really look scared, I just like it because it looks like he beat Kobe to the basket and Kobe's all shocked because of it.

When the Warriors come...
...EVERYONE IS SCARED!!!

Great interview, Kelenna seems like a really good guy. I'm excited to see how he does.

Get well, Monta!

2 tickets to the gun show
He says he gets bigger if he just sniffs a bunch of weights.  That quote is gonna haunt me in the gym tomorrow. :(
I pray i never have to use a gun again.

I really dont think having PT for Monta will be
hard to fine due to the fact that Hudson is not a true point guard. It seems that at this point in Hudson's career, he is only looking to have fun, and take advantage of the freedom he has in the system that Nelson operates. He constantly looks for ways of creating for himself. He shoots way to much, and his shooting percentage has not been so great but yes it has only been two games, preseason ones at that. But in any case, Hudson will most likely get as much as 5 minutes per game. Monta will be backup point guard and I really do doubt that Hudson will even be active much of the time during the season. With 15 players, we have many people to play, and at this point I would imagine that POB has proved that he can play a little  Center for Nelson, due to the fact that he seems to exert himself much more than previous years. He also seems to understand the game and his IQ has grown. He can read the defense/offenses put against him and can react accordingly. So if this is the case, Hudson would most likely be put on the IR along with either Perovic & Lasme unless they are sent to the D-League.

Most Improved
Kelenna will win the most improved player award this year.
Where have you gone Jud Buechler?

Thats an interesting thought..
He may have a very good chance at being the most improved player, it would be nice if the W's claimed the prize back to back wouldnt it?

Very nice interview
"The London Gentleman".  Was that the one, "60% of the time it works every time", or whatever?

Thus far, there isn't much compettion between Azubuike and Belinelli.  Marco's being left in the dust.
