NBA League Pass

Im sitting here in Crapramento and all I get to watch is Kings games. No FSN Bay Area, cant get Knbr in my house and Im totally over watching(reading)gamecast. My question is if I get league Pass do I get to listen to Jim Barnet call the games or some other random yahoo?
Any other Sacramentoans on this board?

BTW this is my first post. Its great to see guys and gals on here that are just fanatical as I am about the dubs.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

It's random
I'm down here in So Cal. I got league pass last year and it's random most of the time. 50/50 shot of FSN BAY everytime. I advise if you want to hear JIM's knowledge and have DIRECTTV then get the sports package for $12 more dollars a month and you'll get FSN BAY AREA for the whole year. However I got league pass again this year for $159 because you get to watch other games too including games that might not be on FSN BAY but on the other teams local channel. Also, the prices are pretty much the same.

black outs
I pretty sure if you go with the sports package to get FSNBA the games will be blacked out. I have dish network and i get comcast sport and when thekings play the games are blacked out.

ya random like dlyrious said
and other teams' announcers can be EXTREMELY annoying. I recommend the mute button for San Antonio games unless you want to laugh at how bad it is.

I actually think the Warriors get broadcasted alot more than 50/50 because our announcing team (well, just Barnett) is actually extremely impartial compared to the other guys.

League pass is definitely worth the money, epecially if you do fantasy hoops cuz being able to watch your players play and root for them to score is fun.

It's almost like the Warriors have 6 guys out there... they always have a guy open! - Rick Barry commentating game 3 last year

league pass
has been a jrizzle staple for a while and while its cool to listen to ur own broadcasters...

its also cool to get the perspective of the other broadcasters, and basically to get a feel of how people outside the bay view the dubs.

so the 50/50 thing works. ALTHOUGH i usually find its normally the dubs broadcasting crew more than not

Feel you pain
I too am now up here in Sacramento (attending CSUS, in the dorms) and I don't have any options whatsoever because TV is provided by the university so I can't sign up for league pass. As excited as I am about the season, I can't help but be disappointed too. At least I'll get to take in opening night in person.

If they have league pass
go to NBA.com and there will be directions on how to watch league pass from your computer.

Had cable last year in Manteca
Initially I could not get the W's games in my cable package because I was in Kings territory. Then I tried ordering LeaguePass and was told the W's games were blocked because I was in an area where I should have gotten the games on cable. After months of run around,I got in touch with Chris Geer (big shot out to Chris!) over at FSN who rectified the situation. Finally, I was able to get the W's on LeaguePass.
Unfortunately, due to Comcast's killing me with their prices, I switched to DishNetwork and have been impressed. I have Fox sports Bay Area and so I'm waiting to see whether or not the W's will be blacked out.  It's a regional thing and some areas you'd think would get the games don't, while others do.  A crap shoot if you ask me.

kings territory
if this is true Warrior games will be blacked out. I live in the Warrior's territory and the kings games are black out for me.

In Chicago
I am thinking about getting League Pass this year. Can somebody who had league pass last year that wasn't in the Sacramento area tell me how many warriors games they got with league pass. I have been hearing 50/50, thanks.
