Can you feel it?

I have loved the dubs for a long time, but I gotta say this is most excited I've been for a season opener ever. Maybe its the fact that Dunleavy no longer will be in uni, but I am hyped for this game. Expectations are through the roof, and though I'm not dumb enough to think we will reach them all, I think this team should be able to put together a nice season. Lord knows I need it. My favorite NFL team since I was a kid, the Dolphins, are 0-8. My USC Trojans are crashing to earth harder than Joe Johnson in playoffs three years ago. The A's are mediocre, and my favorite soccer team is 18th out of 20 in the league. This has been the worst sports year of my life, but I know the dubs can turn this year around. Though this diary is basically pointless, I just gotta say how fired up I am for tomorow and the next 81 (and beyond)....peace, dan

I'm just bummed that I have to work during the game. I'm TiVoing it and making sure none of my friends text or call me so I can watch it right when I get off work.

I never answer any call or text when I tape a game. And I try not to use the internet at all either. Information can come from anyone that knows me since they obviously know I'm obsessed with the Warriors

Season opener jitters...

I hope we don't have too many expectations for this first game because the season opener has as much pressure as a playoff game I think. Everyone wants to start off the season on the right foot, but all this anticipation can plague us too. I'm sure we'll see some boneheaded mistakes in the first quarter. It only adds fuel to the fire that we're facing the Jazz. It'd be awesome if the Roaracle gave us new shirts to wear for the season opener. Show those Jazz fans how the emotion from the playoffs only carried over stronger. I'm still pissed about the racial slurs those Jazz fans slapped across our Dubs.

The season is finally here!! As everybody else here, I have high hopes for our Dubz this season. I just hope to God they don't go the way of my beloved 49ers. High expectations in the beginning of the season, disappointing so far. Like those FSN commercials from last year, I do hope that "God is a Warriors fan".

For the people at work who can't watch videos... just go on youtube and watch the highlights there. I know that between the summer league games, preseason, and the playoff games I have, thats what I've been watching whenever I get pumped thinking about the season to get started. Unfortunately I will not be able to go to the game tonight, but warriors I think the game is in HD and I'm not going to miss that for the world.
