Training Camp: Day 2!

www.warriors.com has updated training camp for day 2 and it includes a hilarious insiders video.

OMG this whole thing is just hella exciting, or is it just me being obsessive?

I'll spare the quotes so you guys can read it yourself, but here are some highlights:

POB is actually impressing Nellie? His summer extra workouts are paying off apparently, but let's not count our chickens...

The crew is excited to see MP2, he arrives late tonight, I hope everything will be smooth after the summer rumors that he didn't want to be in Oakland and wanted to be in Miami

Marco vs. Davis happens twice, before and after each practice, and it's now extended to 40ft! Also Nellie charges $100 at the end of each session to the first person to miss a shot.

Jack is just the man and is showing the most love to every single person in the organization.

The surprise star so far: BOOKIE!!! Al is Nellie's favorite though, he came back 20 pounds lighter!

I knew

Azubuike would be raising some eye brows in training campp. When pietrus starts to train its going to be interesting who will win a spot. Gosh i love the warriors. must be like the funnest team to be around

I think they are the funnest team in the league, they're a very close pack and they all seem to like eachother.

Yeah

The Warriors have a great group of guys. Great point guard, great coach, a lot of great personalities, and they have the greatest fans. great great great! And all of that is frickin awesome since we're usually the underdogs, every game we win feels sooooo goood.

Hey from Melbourne. Love Golden State of Mind.

Just trying to give you some info on Carlos Powell. He played in the Aus NBL for the past few seasons on a bad team where he was pretty much option no. 1, 2 and 3. He plays as an undersized power forward, (He's about 6'7") hustles and hits the glass and can indeed finish at the rim. A scraper.

Little update

via Janny Hu:

Air France finally arrived in Hawaii. There doesn't seem to be any tension (yet?).
Barnes has some pain in his foot. Nellie said it could be a stress fracture (worst-case), but hopefully we don't lose him for the beginning of the season.
