USC...CAL
I know this isn't the right place to post this, so delete this if you like OZ. But I just got off work and found out that USC lost 24-23 to Stanford. STANFORD!!! the school with a tree for a mascot. Cal's Palo Alto neighbors.
This is really good news for Berkeley fans. The Golden Bears are going to at least be ranked number 2 in the polls, and with LSU barely pulling through against Florida, Cal has the slight possibility to be ranked numero uno.
Although this is really exciting it is probably moot though considering Cal-USC face off next week. And it could be dangerous for Cal because the Trojans will probably be hungry after this loss. But for at least a week Cal will be number 2 or possibly 1. And if they beat USC next week, they are in good shape.
Once again, I know this isn't the right forum, so delete it if needed, but I've seen other Cal related info here before.....and im just mutha f***in juiced!

USC Loss
Before the loss, if we go undefeated, we're in the national championship game. If we lose one (to USC), undefeated USC goes national, we go Rose Bowl.
Now, if we go undefeated, we still go NC, but if we lose one to USC, our Rose Bowl hopes rely on USC going to the Championship despite this loss to Stanford.
In other words, the USC game is even more must-win for Cal then before. If Cal loses, a one-loss USC will take the Rose Bowl from a one-loss Cal.
Why would the tie go to USC?
My bet is that USC will lose at least once more this year in Pac-10 play.
Go Bears!
The tie would occur if USC beats us
WHAT!!!!!!
STANFORD BEAT USC????? We're talking football, right, not water polo????
