Off-Topic: Pacquiao defeats Barrera

Pacman defeats Barrara in their 2nd meeting by unanimous decision.  It wasn't really close.  Who else out there is a Pacquiao fan?

Star-divide

Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao defeats Barrara in their 2nd meeting by unanimous decision.  It wasn't really close.  Who else out there is a Pacquiao fan?  When this guy fights the whole country of the Philippines basically shuts down to watch and root for the most famous guy from the country.  As far as popularity, this guy trumps singer, actors, politicians, you name it.  Way to go, Manny.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

I was shocked that it went 12 rounds
pacman had control the whole time. Barrerra did not want to put his hands down.  What is next for pacman?  Maybe he should gain weight and fight mayweather?

Marquez
There are talks of Pacquiao-Marquez again to resolve that draw from their last meeting.

Yeah I saw it too.
The fight was a little on the boring side though. It was funny in the end, how the interviewer kept asking Manny several different questions that were too complicated for him to answer. Manny just ended up saying the same answer for most of the questions. lol.  It hella reminded me of that girl from the Miss Teen USA competition.

It's crazy when you think about it though, Manny doesn't really have any defense but he still wins. He doesn't counter punch either. All he does is let out a fury of very strong and fast punches. It's amazing how his strong punches are good enough to make up for his lack of defense.

well
Pacquiao is a counter puncher and Barrera is a counter puncher too, which is why the fight felt awkward at times for both of them since they were waiting for the other to punch.  Toe to toe, Pacquiao will destroy most. It's easy to think that that is all he does since that's what he does best.  Anytime Barrera tried to trade he came up short.

Puncher
Yeah, his English is not very good.  But he's always humble after his victories.

He's basically an offensive machine.  His conditioning is supreme and he possesses the punching power of a higher weight class boxer... and of course, his heart can't be disputed. He tends to overextend and chase, but he's always been adept at circling his opponent's heavy weapons.

haha is this manny or the dubs?
^ why does this sound like the warriors? (minus the bad english...) offensive machine, plays bigger than they are, super conditioning, able to take away other teams big weapon, and of course...heart of a champion.
