Have you ever been *pissed off* before?!
Hey, has anyone ever said something about the Warriors that pissed you off and got you heated? Are you that much of a die hard fan, where you end up getting mad when someone says a certain something about your team?
I don't know, there's something about the line "Warriors are a fluke team" that gets me pissed as hell. Especially when the person saying it, acts like they know for sure that we are. If you post on basketball forums on sites like RealGM, ESPN, etc. then you might know what i'm talking about.
Don't get me wrong though, it's not like i'm a whiny crybaby about those comments... i'm just saying that all the hate towards the team gets annoying.

WOW
And the Warriors don't know how to develop young talent? We have a 21 year old who won the NBA's Most Improved Player award. We have another 21 year old who, being a Warrior since he was 18, became a double double threat and is shooting 59% from the field.
People are so accustomed to seeing the Warriors as a bad team (12 years is a long time), that any sign of success causes them to be in disbelief. This causes them to discredit the team by calling them "a fluke" and other comments similar to that. Screw them.

no, never
so, anytime someone talks shit about the dubs(how can they tho? we are going to be such a dominant team) its likely that u kno more than them, so u can get them to explain themselves, aka make them look like morons.
however, if the person does know some NBA(very rare) and they do know some dubs, they might have true criticisms such as "you guys cant rebound" to which I reply "true".
but serious, if warriors.com is all you read, we are going to be freaking awesome this year. I agree with them. quality website.
Side Note- Remember when we first traded for Boom Dizz and went 18-10 with him as a starter, and we ran over all these playoff teams? And people were saying(people! i meant to say "losers" like mike dunleavy and troy murphy) man, i wish the season wouldnt end? ok, that feeling was duplicated finally during last years run, but the crazy thing is that feeling of confidence HAS CARRIED OVER TO THIS YEAR.
were going to dominate. go dubs

50 told me
The view from London
Over here, I get annoyed a lot because people don't know their stuff when it comes to the NBA and just write off Golden State, saying they suck... Pretty much everyone either supports:
The Lakers because they are popular, famous, have titles and have Kobe,
The Spurs just because they've got a good record in the last 10 years and because there is a football team called Tottenham Hotspurs and all Tottenham fans support San Antonio because of the name.
Or The Celtics (because of their great history).
I hate the Spurs because of their domination, dirty tactics (such as Robert Horry antics against Phoenix and Diaw and Stoudemire getting suspended for standing up) and boring style of play) and the Lakers because they are Warriors rivals, their fans are often stupid and because they are too over-hyped and over-rated over here, most people assume that the Lakers have the best record and don't realise that they were the 7th seed (8th if they had lost to the Kings on the last day) and knocked out before we were.
I don't mind the Celtics though as they are in the East and after they have done badly in the last few years, I have wanted them to do better. They are playing tomorrow against the Timberwolves at the o2 Arena. I'm going to see that game, KG's first game against Minnesota and Boston's 2nd game with their new all-stars Garnett and Allen. I am looking forward to it but I would obviously much prefer to see the Warriors play live as I have only been able to see them play once and on that day, when Baron and J-Rich were injured, SJax missed a buzzer beater and we lost to the Hawks; from then on, though, we gathered momentum and made our playoff push, which I followed a lot and stayed up through the night during the playoffs (we are 8 hours ahead of Pacific time here in London).
