Who would u rather have now, Wright or Noah?
I remember before the season started a lot of us (mainly OZ) were saying how we'd rather have Noah than Wright. After seeing both of them play a bit, who would u rather have, Wright or Noah? IMO Wright is looking real good. His length, athleticism, and close to the basket game. I think he's ready to contribute now and if Nellie gives him more of an opportunity, I think that hell prove me right.

Shouldn't Wright be in Minny?
Though we are only 10 games into the season, I agree the answer is Wright. But I wouldn't sleep on Noah just yet.

Ratliff was the key.
Minn was looking to rebuild. If you believe Monta and Biedrins and Wright are equivalent to Jefferson and the other players Boston send and you believe that we'd have been willing to part with similar picks, then it comes down to the baggage that comes to make numbers work.
Ratliff and his expiring deal was something we couldn't contend with. What were we going to offer to make salaries match? Foyle? Richardson? Seems like they didn't want him else the Wright trade never would have happened. Harrington? A tweener-cannot rebound forward who has been a consistent negative net +/- for much of his career and has a multi-year deal paying him well above the average NBA salary though he provides no more than average production? Not really what a rebuilding team wants.
Minn didn't accept the offer because an offer that included expiring deals was better than one that included mediocre talent.
