Warriors\Suns game on comcast on demand

I was at the game yesterday and was hoping to come home and see the full game on Comcast On-demand but the entire first quarter was cut out. I was so upset that I emailed both fox bayarea and comcast.

Did anyone else have the same problem? And did anyone else contact Comcast and FSN?

Someone from FSN responded back to me but I have yet to hear an update. The "rental" for the game is usually only for 24 hours. So I guess I'm out of luck?

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

Whenever
I've watched games on Comcast On Demand the whole game has been there. I don't know what to tell you. Maybe just wait it out and hopefully it's fixed soon?

Yeah I tried to watch the game again last night
with the on demand and it started at the 8 minute mark of the 2nd quarter.  Good luck trying to get a response from those idiots at comcast.

comcast
comcast is full of jackasses.  They should take some of the money they use on their advertising and start using it to improve their services because they are just awful.

Shameless Plug...
...I recently ordered Direct TV, switched from Comcast.  SO MUCH BETTER!!!  More channels for less money.

HERE'S A TIP FOR ALL COMCAST SUBSCRIBERS...
When I called to cancel Comcast - they asked why.  I said that I got more channels for much cheaper on Direct TV... plus, the NFL Ticket/Network is not offered to Comcast.  They offered to SLASH my Comcast bill from $115 to $65 a month for a year if I stayed.  I declined, but two of my friends called and they cut the price about 50% for both of them.

Just thought I'd hook the Dubs Nation up with about a $400-$600 savings a year on damn cable... Give it a try, promise it works.

Nice...
but the thing that kills DirecTV for me is that they charge you $199 (after $100 rebate) for the HD-DVR...something that both Dish and Comcast give to you for free, or at least for a monthly charge.

i do that every year
I threaten to cancel every year, and they slash their prices for a year.  No point paying full price.  I recommend it to everyone.  If they call your bluff, just call back and cancel your cancellation.

Heard back from FSN Bay Area
Apparently Comcast messed up the recording. So hopefully for any future games, it'll be ok.

last night's game is available for purchase via NBA.com download?

Nope.
They usually archive the game so you can watch it online if it was on league pass.  But since it was on NBATV, it wasn't archived.  I ended up downloading the game off bittorrent.  It's the FSNBayArea feed but with chinese announcers =/

How do you...
Find the game through on demand anyways?  I haven't been able to navigate through the menu's to find the game yet =(

you got to on demand then
sports & fitness > fsn bay area > golden state warriors

its not there now though for some reason, but it usually is

ahhh okay
so they remove it after a while, that's probably why, when i went to look for it, there was no warrior menu there.

so how long does it stay on?  i need to know before i trust this enough to disable my dvr.

Its there
30 minutes after the game and stays there up to 24 hours I think.
