i hate our tv deal

So i'm paying 30 bucks a month for the basic 100 channels plus $5 for local channels. Now i've been living in the caribbean for two years and then various cities around the us for a year and the only warriors games i saw were the nationally televised and the playoff games. So you can imagine my excitement when i came back to the bay area and lo and be hold no warriors games.

I have to pay an extra 12.99 a month so i can get a bunch of b.s. channels plus FSN bay area which plays the warrior games. It's the most frustrating thing i've ever seen. How do i not get to watch my local team (a source of pride) on my local stations with MY anouncers. This is ridiculous. And to make it worse now that i paid Dish Networks the extra 12.99 i get all the kings games. why would i want that? I apologize for my first diary being a whining session but really why do we not get our local team games on our local stations? I've been to miami,and dallas on trips and they both get their local teams and when i lived in vacaville we got the kings games on the local station so why are the warriors not on local tv. A few years back before i finished undergrad (banana slugs)my family was poor so i worry about the fans that can't pay the extra to get the warrior games. This to me is a serious problem our local fan base that can't afford the extra satelite is being neglected.

I live in san francisco and I get FSN bay area with comcast on my basic cable? maybe get off of dish network because they run off satellites and not through local cable. hence the reason why you dont get local cables and have to pay a monthly premium to get your specific local channels since dtv isnt based solely off location.

It is even worse if you live in Sacramento.

I HAVE to buy the League Pass, because Sacramento blacksout all FSN games, so as not to compete with the kings.

Sports package

Cost only $5.99 and then you would get all the FSN channels. Unless the other channels you get for the $12.99 means more to you.

i use to watch them on channel 6... some fans are like it was on basic tv!? then the next question they ask is...WHEN?... Before you were born or when you were a bulls or lakers fan... =)...HAHAHAHA

NBA-TV

NBA-TV on Comcast used to be FREE with your basic cable subscription. Now they've added it to their sports package which you have to pay for. Why do i have to pay for it now when it's the same F'n channel with no new added content to justify the extra $$$.

I just want basketball all day. I don't wanna pay for it as part of a package with other sports that i don't wanna watch.

I already pay about $100/month for cable and that includes the BASIC LOWEST PRICE package plus TFC and GMA that my wife and parents NEED. Then I gotta pay a monthly charge for my 1 DVR set-top box! And now that I just bought a new HDTV they wanna charge me more for HD channels plus more again for an HD reciever!

If Comcast bends me over anymore i'll have my toes in my mouth.

I pray i never have to use a gun again.

And u notice how often when they have like those shy pre-teen girl contestants, all of sudden when thy have to show a talent they bust out dancing like stripper hoochies! That always cracks me up.

And I had dish and they blacked out Warrior games and I got AT&T and they swore up and down I get fsn and they dont black out the games, sure enough, that first game in hawaii against the lakers I waited alllllllll day till 10pm to watch the game and it was blacked out. I wanted to stab that lady that talked me into buying that AT&T crap, now my roommate wants dish again...if they blackout my games again Im gonna have to get blackout drunk
