Why the Miami game?

Because it was just that good of a show. The comeback, the passion, and the crowd (wow!).

Our recent game against Miami is just one of many examples that we are a part of a new Warriors generation. I can't even count how many times in the past we've complained about not being a "fourth quarter team". Clearly not the case here.

Things are a little different now. We have heroes now. We have weapons now. Beans, Ellis, Jax, Harrington, Barnes, Kabuki, and of course the mighty mighty Baron.

Granted, Riley didn't make the moves to properly stop us from stealing the win in the waning minutes of the game. As I watch these highlights, however, I start to realize why.

He probably couldn't even hear himself think.

i was wondering that too

I'm guessing it's for more for what bob said - "well mark that down...yadda yadda...opprotunity for a 3pt play for the heat." then they show the monta highlight, which IMO is what spurred the huge comeback. i think that was our first dunk of the night.

what i'm wondering is, where's the open thread?

I was just on the Blazers sister site.....

And I gotta say those guys are hilarious. The interview with GSOM is up over there, though the Oakland slackers are taking their sweet time ;-), and the Blazers-Warriors intro they have is outrageous. They are basically giving themselves little to no chance, and they are hilarious with their language and puns in doing so. You guys should go check it out....
