Belinelli: No to D-League
http://www.contracostatimes.com/warriors/ci_7670353
Basically, the article says that Belinelli feels that he is already ready for the NBA and that he doesn't need a nice trip to Bakersfield. While he may or may not be ready, that's Nelson's decision, how can it hurt? I don't understand his reasoning. I think he might feel that the D-League in this connotation is exactly what it is NOT, a demotion. While it may seem to him to be in street clothes and support his team, it is always better to get playing time minutes no matter where you are in order to get rid of this funk. However, if the Warriors push it and he still says no, it could be a pre-cursor to bad things to come.
Thoughts?

lol Nelly
I guess Nelly isn't as hard on Belinelli as he was on POB. Imagine if POB said last year "No, I'm not going down to the DLeague; I belong here" LoL
maybe they
why change what's working?

how
Maybe the D-league ain't a bad choice after all. He'll get another shot, the Dubz at some point will bite an injury bug.

As long as he stays out of NBA games
The Warriors need to bring back St. Jean as a draft consultant. It's like the Warriors' draft strategy is to make Bakersfield a D-League power house. Can you imagine a line-up of:
PG - Belinelli
SG - Kosta (at 7-2 a matchup nightmare!)
SF - Lasme
PF - Wright
C - POB

the problem is
I'm guessing
I really wish we activate him tho, if we're not sending him down. Those little minutes can help him.
