Baron is having surgery tomorrow.

He has some things floating around in his knee. Found in MRI. Will have surgery tomorrow. Will be back sometime this season. Just reported on KNBR.

This is definately not good news to our playoff push. Oh well, what ya gonna do.

Just a little more word to submit this. So I will ramble a bit. and a little bit more and more. and more.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

Say it ain't so...
I wrote about this earlier. We better not be "Paul Pierceing" the season. I'm not going to judge it right now but if they come back after and say hes done for the season we'll know whats up wink wink...and just when JR getting ready to come back. Something looks really bad about this whole thing. The team was finally going to have everybody minus Zarko (whose presence would totally change our team for the better). So it was wait for JR now wait for Baron. JUST WIN BABY!

RE: "Paul Piercing the season"
To tank or not to tank, that is the question.

I agree not to tank because the Warriors aren't out of it and Mullin/Higgins could still make a trade.

Last year was different because JRich came back after the Warriors were out of the playoffs.  Yes, he helped the Warriors win some games, but screwed us out of the #8 pick.  Not only that, the injury lingered and caused him to miss many games this season.  That just added insult to injury (sorry bad pun).

So an injury is something to take seriously, even if it's not major surgery and arthoscopic surgery.

KNBR said Baron will come back this season, but it really depends.  If we're out of the race, then Nelson will likely not play him too much.  If we're still in it, then it's differnet.

Just heard
Tough, tough news to swallow. I thought something was up when I heard he was in LA getting it checked out. Hopefully gamers like Azu can step up. Sarunas is too slow to log major minutes at the 1 for us right now. We NEED JRich back now.....
