Recipe for Warriors Success

(1) 6'9"+ young power forward
(1) reliable, veteran power forward or center
(1) young backup point guard
(2) Cups of 3PT shooting self-restraint
Lots of D-E-F-E-N-S-E

Sauté entire team in healthy dose of TANK SAUCE before every game.
Start all healthy, young, bench players for the remaining 23 games. If necessary, find more young players at your local D-League market. Observe a controlled slide to bottom of the western conference, as well as a nice burn-in of POB, Powell, and Kelenna.
Be careful to strain and remove any Pietrus chunks you find in the sauce (especially when he makes plays that cause Jim Barnett to say, "you just don't do that"). Trade Pietrus chunks for any veteran 4/5 with a reasonable contract.
Place all injuries in a separate pan and set aside to rest for at least a month. Do not add to the mix until the season has just finished marinating, to infuse some flavor and excitement for next year.
Now collect your draft picks. There should be at least one in the top 10, if the TANK SAUCE was applied correctly in the first step. Use to acquire a young power forward that can rebound and be productive immediately (such as Brandan Wright, Al Horford, Joakim Noah, or Yi Jianlian).
Use remaining pick to draft a point guard to be groomed as backup (Crittenton, if he comes out, Aaron Brooks, or maybe Shakur). If no good point guards are available, draft the best available player and trade for the point guard you want. Immediately throw away Jasikevicius.
When you remove from the oven next year, observe plenty of depth at the 1 and 4. If all of the depth is at the 2/3, you've done something terribly wrong. As you prepare to serve, continuing adding DEFENSIVE ACCOUNTABILITY and 3PT SHOOTING RESTRAINT every game, or the whole recipe may spoil.
Makes [up for] 13 [missed] servings of playoff goodness.

Your Main Ingredient
good game on the 3 point restraint, nobody has it, except maybe the two most likely best three point shooters on the team, Bookie and Sarunas. I'm unsure why Sarunas won't shoot more often, I don't see him being much of a threat in a 1 on 1 situation going to the basket in traffic, he's an ok passer, but I see him as more of an outside shooting threat. Nelson gives him limited time, why not shoot the open shots I know he can make on a pick and pop or when they give him no respect (all the time) when the defender goes under the screen.

I like this but it is tougher than it seems
Pietrus is gone but he has no value
I think they need a vet back-up point rahter than a young guy. I am thinking a guy like Snow who can give you soild minutes, can D up and who can settle a team down. Doesn't even matter if he can shoot
great recipe but....
that guy's a train wreck
It's a good recipe, let's add a few ingredients.
- trade the 2 of the 4 guys we picked up in the trade. Al Scarrington and Yesiamaslowasssbiaatch.
- Play powell at the powerforward for the rest of the season and see if this kid can board and work on a low post game. If he fits the bill no need to draft a PF unless we tank it so badly that we move up in draft status.
- Maybe we can trade for someone or pick up a guy that is a free agent is AK47 available.
- Get Nelson to belive that his team needs to play defense to win and not just run and gun(look what Avery did with your talented team that consistently failed by promoting DEFENSE)
- Knock off a few NBA officials until they get the point that we're sick of getting crap calls every game including those at home, I'm sick of REFS in this league. Even when they look directly at a foul they still won't call it sometimes. Why does Biedrins pick up touch fouls on the block against post players #$^$&$%#$!! It's the post you push and shove that's what happens, get over your selves and call a fair game.
great post!

Sounds Scrumdiddlyicious!
Well, now it seems like most of us are ready for our medicine, so pssst ... while no one's looking, here's an extra bottle of that magical elixir:

(Feel free to replace "Yi" with "Durant" or "Horford" -- it's a 5-month old medication!)
