keep yo head up

this season is not over. we all know the warriors are the most inconsistent team in the NBA. doesn't that mean we wont consistently lose? also look at the bright side and realize that weve never been a playoff contender this late in the season in a while. i know we are in one heck of a hole right now, but why should year 13 be any different then the first 12? i undersatnd its frustrating but remember that we still have a chance and if we dont make it, big deal! its just 1 year out of many. well get there i promise you.

kan i also ask that we remember this is a family site? i dont want to sound like a party pooper, and its not offensive to me, but there have been some 4 letter words and some drug references, and u never know whos reading this.

one last thing: what in the world happened to baumerworld? his readings were so incoherent and funny that they almost made sense. i miss that weird guy.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

Im not worried about the playoffs
The playoffs would be nice, but it would be even nicer to be able to enjoy watching the games instead of wondering, "is it gonna be another blow out?"  I have faith that they can get the job done, but my biggest concern is what is happening that the fans are unaware of.  By this I mean coaching tactics.  Sometimes I wonder if Nelson is wasted when I see him on tv and other times I have to wonder if he's even sane.  Playing zone against Michael Redd... insane or just dumb?  maybe pretty soon the nba will implement a 20 pt shot on the court somewhere so the warriors can recover from 2nd half droughts.

I just hope that when Baron comes back, things will start to look up.  All the games that they have lost in the past week have been brutal, but each game it seems that new talent is born and some future hope shines through, Bookie better get the start on Friday.

he was playing 3-2 zone
which is designed to prevent the 3pointer

not saying we were good at playing it but that's no surprise

drug references?
who me? I'm all for nixing the swear words, but I don't think there's anything wrong with drug references. I'm made many references to marijuana and I've seen others do it as well. Has anybody on this site encouraged doing the drug? Not sense I've been on this site. I've seen no encouragement of illegal activity at all on this site. But does that mean that we shouldn't even talk about drugs, or make jokes about them (like when a fellow member asked me if I was high when I said I thought the warriors had talent) Drugs are in the real world man.. hell, there even in the fake world. I'm going to make drug references and so will many others. And if kids read it so be it. Nobody's encouraging anything. It's just the way people speak and you can't censor that.

You want no foul language, no racism, no crude sexual jokes or homophoebic remarks. Absolutely, this is a site for everyone. But you want me to censor the subject matter, and not even mention things that exist in this world.. like drugs? I don't think so buddy.

Are you baked outta' yo' mind dogg?

i knew this
season was over a month ago.

these 4 straight blow out losses just back me up on that. I don't feel any pain or sorrow anymore because i am so emotionally detached right now.

It is clear this team sucks, we should rebuild and seriously re-evaluate this roster. Get rid of the dead weight and bring in tough, gritty players. If you asked me which player would i rather have, Billiups and Hamilton or Baron and Jrich, i think i would pick the first one. Baron to me is slipping further and further from dominant status, and more like stephon and francis each game. And Michael Redd schooled Richardson the other day.

Warriors, Stupidest franchise in the league. Purgatory is thy home.

re
comparing Baron to Francis is unfair. Francis is way past his prime. Baron can't stay healthy, but he was having a good year this year and was really carrying the team.

Redd scored 31, he averages 27. And the game had way more possessions than their average game. So it really wasn't an above average game for Redd, he "schools" everybody.

o
well Bell scored 20 if I remember right, and he's averaging 15 for the past month, so still I don't see the point

way to go Warriors
Finally make it into a playoff spot and go on a four game losing streak (that isn't over yet).

dear mydedgerbil555
sorry to hear about your pet.

I haven't been able to post for a while because I've been in the process of moving and haven't had the internet in my new place.
I'm not sure whether I'm going to get it or not.  I'm hoping for a desk job where i can get my internet browsing in and not have to pay for it at home.

Don't worry everyone, I'm still following the warriors.  I've also been getting caught up in the celtics losing streaks.

I feel like both teams need a big let's just start over card

Who knows what happens when you finally get baron and Jrich together though.  My head's probably just in a cloud of hopeless thinking and ignorance raining down.
