Living the Fantasy : FREE MONTA!

As you might know. Rick Kamla is a huge fan of Monta Ellis. So of cource he is upset with the benching of Monta for the last games. He thinks that Monta should get the start over Stephen Jackson. But, matter of fact, we won those games. It's very obvious that when a team is healthy, some players get less playing time.

Do you think Monta should get the start over Stephen Jackson? Here is the article: http://www.nba.com/fantasy/features/ltf_070308.html

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

Nah.
No. That'd be silly. SJax has been just as important as Baron Davis has been, at least lately. Monta is great, but he is doing what he should be doing right now.

Playoffs in '07, baby!

uh
no. i think hes better coming off the bench for baron davis.

Agreed
With the personel we have right now I think that Monta is best suited coming off the bench with some instant offense. Also jackson has really impressed me with his passing and decision making (lately). I never thought he would be this good in those areas.

dont forget the D
he was very impressive in one on one D against AI

lol
a fantasy expert saying what a coach should do?  LMAO.  He doesn't care about wins, all he wants is stats for his team.  He shouldn't be sayin shit about Nellie.  He's probably shitting his pants because it's near playoff time for fantasy and he needs help.

That guys a jerk
He needs to quite looking at the stats and watch a game.  I love Monta but I would definitely rather have Jackson start.  No question.  And Nellie's gonna start him cause he loves his hustle, he just said Thursday that he would like 12 Steven Jacksons on his team.  I think Pietrus playing more time than Kabuke for the last 2 weeks was way worse then this.

stephen jackson
Is shouldn't matter who starts. At the the end of the game, Monta should be replacing either Jackson or Richardson. Monta's been in the 4th the last 3 games.

Oh, by the way, Stephen Jackson has really been struggling with his shot. If he continues, he shouldn't be played as much in the 4th.

I told u all that he couldn't take people off the dribble. It was clearly evedienced yesterday. Did u see the turnovers and missed shots he has made. He should stick to making shots and passing. That is all he should be doing.

i think
monta should keep coming off the bench... obviously this lineup is working.  monta should get starters minutes tho as the sixth man as they should go with a three gaurd rotation of baron jrich and monta.

Agree
Monta is Best coming off the bench, but he should start in some games for Baron Davis cuz Baron needs a little rest

Rick Kamla
is the MAN! I am obssessed with fantasy basketball, so maybe y'all dont share my views, but anyone that loves fantasy basketball would love Rick Kamla and his enthusiasm. Ya, maybe he's wrong about this issue, but the guy monitors all 30 (29? I forgot) teams in the league, not just one team like the majority of us, so give him a break y'all.

doesn't matter
fantasy wise if Monta starts or not...he is getting major minutes either way. His stats are not hurting because of this. I guess if anything, his scoring will go up and his assists will go down, but very marginally.

Let's Go Oakland! Gas, Brake, Dip.

nah
bringing monta in off the bench gives the warriors probably the second best 6th man in the league (behind ben gordon). he's instant offense plus the way he's been locking people down on D the past 3 games he's instant defense as well.

There you go Kamla...
With Baron's knee acting up, Monta is starting tonight vs. Portland.  Thanks a lot Rick Kamla for putting the hex on Baron's knee.  I know you've got a BD voodoo doll...
