pacers

I was checking the W's on the Mercury News site and i happened to click a link giving a Pacer fan's view of our trade.

Star-divide

It's kind of ghetto cause he immediately calls out BD, JR, Al, and Jack as not being team players.  I guess i can understand his attitude toward Jack and Al, but to be busting BD and especially JR like that was pretty ignorant i thought.

He also mentions how we need to replace Nellie since he supposedly only knows how to coach offense.  Maybe he's just jealous since Carlisle apparently only knows how to coach defense and now he can't even do that after adding Troy and Mike.  I found this part particularly ironic:

Get a coach that can set up a system to work with its players strength and cover up its weakness. The Pacers coaching staff has done that pretty well with Harrington and Jackson, especially Jasikevicius.

Anyways, it's just another one of the reads that gets us all riled up!

PS~ please let me know if i linked this properly...thanks!

PPS~also, can someone do something about the "Why not..." diary by Coma that got ruined by the freak who posted all the porn links?

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

haha
I can't help but giggle after reading that, I wish we could find that guy now and ask him how he likes the trade. That thread he wrote is so ridiculous I'm honestly at a loss for words.

Definitely! All we ask is that people link to places where they are getting content from and make it clear what is the work of someone else (quoting). Also, we ask that people do not copy and paste stuff from other sites (particularly articles) in their whole.

You did all of the above. No sweat.

Thanks for pointing that out. With the traffic growing so rapidly here things like this do miss our eye sometimes. I really don't get why spammers post links like that. Once we see it we erase their user accounts, so now... that sucka is history!

Amazing
He wrote that on February 2nd, which was during the Murphleavy honeymoon when they keep winning like 2 out of 3 games.  I don't think he can say the same thing now that they have lost 11 in a row.  It's funny when he said "we knew we were going nowhere" because, now they're going somewhere and that's out of the playoffs.

Funny how
he mentioned records, when this trade was made im 90% sure that the Pacers had a better record than u, and now, after the trade, we have a better record than them.  That would lead me to think that this wasnt exactly a 'fleecing' by the Pacers.  But hey what do i know, I cheer for a team with a basketball IQ of 4/10, selfish playground basketball players, and a laughable second most winningest coach in bball history.
