Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Now it all makes sense...Larry Bird is a genius.

With Indiana losing nearly x of x games and falling from the playoffs, the genius of Larry Bird is beginning to materialize. He obviously found something that Murphleavy is good for...getting them in the lottery and a shot at ODEN/DURANT/Whoever.

If this is the case, then Bird got exactly what he wanted and totally ripped us off.

Hey Mullin wipe that egg of your face! HAHA

Earlier tonight it was 16 of 18 losses. I'm sure its 17 of 19 now.

yep
Dumbmurphy moved them from the six spot in the East to a high draft lottery pick.  Sad thing is Carlise will most likely get fired.  Wasn't really his fault.

I wonder if Musselman will get the axe as well?

hahaha
im guessing this is sarcastic.  they have no shot at oden or durant well maybe like 2 percent and they would have easily made the playoffs if they kept there squad together or even just played decent.

Funny ass s**t
I love how when the trade happened, all these so called 'experts' said that the Pacers won the trade, because Dun could shoot from the outside and Murph would give Jermaine a complimentary post presence.

Now that they are actually watching the Murphleavy twins, they are realizing that these guys are so slow, they couldn't even guard Charles Barkley's fat ass if he decided to come out of retirement.

I don't think there is any way we could ever thank you enough Larry Bird.  You will always be a Legend in our hearts.

Maybe Bird's not so smart
When the Pacers traded for Al Harrington last summer all they really had to give up was a measly a first round pick.

From NBADraft.net:
http://nbadraft.net/draftnotes.asp#atl082206

Atlanta receives Indiana's 2007 first-round pick. (Al Harrington trade 082206) (Top 10 protected in 2007, top 8 in 2008, top 5 in 2009, and unprotected in 2010).

Unless the Pacers keep losing big time (a very real possibility of course) that 2k7 pick is actually going to the Hawks. They have a real incentive to play Dunmurphy more minutes (i.e. lose).

1 Rebound????
Are you kidding me? Troy Murphy just grabbed 1 rebound in the entire game? and how about Dunleavy? 8 points in 35 five minutes while my main man from my Puerto Rico Carlos Arroyo score the same in 12.Also an interesting note, the pacers are 11-22 since the trade, all the loses by more than 10 points....

I wouldn't be making jokes about...
stats b/c that was one game, and although both dunleavey and murphy aren't good players, everyone has their bad days.  Consider the game vs the spurs when Al and Jrich combined for 1 pt and check their minutes.

But really, I thought maybe that dunleavey and murphy would do a lot better in the eastcoast conference, I was wrong, they still are stinking it up.  I watched 1/2 a quarter of the game yesterday b/c it was on HD, but had to turn it off after dunleavey fired up some shots that barely touched the rim and they continued to get worked on the defensive end.  I guess it was worth it b/c I saw trevor ariza dunk on O'neil.
