Shall I say it again? Do we really need to discuss this? Is this the most IMPORTANT game of the year? I say it is. Two games out of 7th (Clippers) and 8th (Nuggets) place, the Warriors only have 9 games remaining to make ground but have one of the hardest schedules remaining.

As fans, we hit a typical bipolar week when we lost to the Spurs by 37 points and then put on the most exciting win against the scorching Suns. Just when I hate the Warriors, they reel me back in.

So today we face the Grizzlies which should be an easy win, especially at home. However, having split this series so far, it's evident that the Grizz could come out and give us a hard time. Even with the worst record in the league they somehow are able to match up against us pretty well. We have a full strength squad so that should give us the upper hand. If we lose today, consider us out of the playoffs!

Anyone going to the game? If so we need a full analysis when you get back!

Playoff Related Notes:
Clippers: No scheduled game today. Next game versus the Fakers on Wednesday.

Nuggets: 6pm game at the Sonics. Keep your fingers crossed.

Correction
the Warriors only have 9 games remaining to make ground but have the hardest schedule compared to both of them.

Um, no. The Nuggets have by far the hardest remaining schedule of the three teams -- a much higher opponents' winning pct, plus two more road games than the Ws, and three more road games than the Clips. The Clips' and Warriors' schedules are comparable: Clips have an extra home game but the Ws have a slightly lesser strength of opponent and one fewer back-to-back (we have two; they have three).

But yeah, today's a must-win. Really they're all must-wins at this point...

You're right the Nuggets do have a tough schedule. Apart from the two Memphis games we play, our schedule is pretty damn tough and the Nuggets have the luxury of 11 games remaining. it will be interesting to see who pulls this off.

Yeah, at this point it's easier to just look at it game by game, but if you're curious this site ranks the teams by overall strength of schedule. We've got the third easiest in the conference ... but yes, obviously that's skewed a bit by the fact that we're playing the worst team in the NBA twice. After today's game, we'll probably drop down the list a bit...

ya if I'm not mistaken this is the first time

Both local networks decided not to broadcast the game. All league pass does is take the broadcast of either team, but it had no team to take it from for this game.

the "policy" is something he made up
the simple answer is league pass takes either team's local broadcast, and both teams in this game didn't broadcast the game locally so league pass had no way to show the game

Who wants to hear worst story of the night?

I take my boss' kid to the game. I spent some of my last money on some decent tickets. We hit a dog, who, for some reason, was on the freeway, and killed it on the way to the game. Then, the car overheats in San Leandro on the way to the game from San Jose. It overheats VERYYYYYY bad, so we get off on Marina Blvd. at some Valero gas station. I get out, pop the hood and take a look. The car doesnt start again at all....very bad news. Its 11:30 am at this time. So I call a taxi...they tell me it will be about 20 minutes....so Im like cool, we will still be there before 12.

An hour and a half later...a whole HALF of the game later, we arrive, and catch the 2nd half...only to hear a bunch of smartasses ask me if I knew the game was at 12 instead of 1...bla bla bla. Taxi back to the car at Valero after the game. Tow it to my father in laws house, cause it is his car (im struggling right now)...the guy isnt home. So Im stuck in Campbell, CA tryig to get back home to Alviso (near Milpitas).

All along....everybody I told this story to, thought it was an April Fools joke...which made it harder to get around.

Point of the story...I hate April 1st...the Warriors win somehow still didnt brighten my day...all I could think about is how the hell Im getting to work...and how bad of a day this is.

Whoever read this whole thing...props. I had to get my aggression out on something...and I love me some GOLDENSTATEOFMIND to do it.

My bad homie...
man... we all need a little help sometimes.  I've been there before (My car stalled on the freeway around Palo Alto... the tow truck towed my car to a gas station in EPA... there were hella people just straight mean mugging and just looking for a perfect opportunity to stick me up... good times)  All I can say is hope things get brighter from here.
