Mike and Murph

Oh, this was just TOO funny to pass up!
From Tuesday's recap of the Pacers/Sixers game:

"Over in another corner of the locker room, Mike Dunleavy told Troy Murphy, "I can't believe we lost that one. Wow.""

Their stats?
Dunleavy: 4-13, 9pts, 9reb, 3ass, 2 TO
and Murphy?
5-13, 11pts, 4reb, 5 fouls.

Thank goodness we traded them. And also, Murphleavy is close to keeping the Pacers out of the playoffs. They are 2 games out with 5 to play.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

haha MDJ with the infamous triple single
Are y'all rooting against Murphy or just laughing at the state of the Pacers? Because I understand the latter since after the trade all these NBA experts were saying that we lost the trade, but I always liked Murphy alot, if for no other reason that he worked really hard. I'm not sure whether to root for Diogu because his potential still threatens to shake the balance of the trade, but I think I'll root for him to do well

ya...
Another sleeper in the trade is Keith McLeod, and he has ably filled in for Jamaal Tinsley these last few games, with a high of 17! points. On the Warriors side, I think we got a lot of potential with Josh Powell, as he can hit jumpers and play on the post. The dissappointment so far has been Sarunas Jasickevicious, who really hasnt fit into Nellie's style of play.

I used to miss them
but now that they're leading a team...I just see the atrociousness. It's like watching people who havent played basketball in 11 years! How the hell could they be so unskilled?!?!

I pity the Pacers, so, so much. How could they get on fire sometimes, and then just collapse at others? It's despicable.

With his past behind him, Adonal looks toward the future, wherever it may be....

Murphleavy
I wonder when people will wake up to MDJ and realize that he doesn't have potential. People always say he has such a high basketball IQ and such but when it comes down to it he's a horrible basketball player. I wonder when the first "expert" is going to wake up and see this. I thank Larry Bird though for taking Dunleavy the princess and Murphy the sloth.

murph's rebounding has disappeared
it was there earlier, but, now he seems to live outside the paint.  weird.

I was watching
ESPN yesterday, they played a clip of the Pacers playing the Sixers.  And was I impressed!  When the Pacers had the chance to tie the game, Dunleavy actually was the person who attempted the 3-ptr and missed miserably (hit the front rim, gosh!).  Before that shot they showed a Sixers fastbreak also on a Dunleavy 3-pt miss.
It's either the last game or the game before that Murphy actually played 20+ minutes and grab 0 (!) rebound.
Anyway, it's always been fun seeing them torturing the Pacer fans.
Go Warriors!
