Andris reminds me of . . . . .

i don't know!  i can't think of too many current or former NBA players (center or power forward) who have games similar to Andris'.  i mean, David Robinson was left handed, quick, had good hands, and could finish aggressively at the rim.  but i wouldn't consider their games THAT similar.  especially since Andris (at this point in his young career) doesn't have a mid-range shot like Robinson had.  as all dub fans know, andris is quite unique in that he is exceptionally quick for his size, has GREAT hands, and is just SO active, almost rodman-like active when he goes after rebounds.  (also, i just love the way he rocks da rim with two hands.  although his one-handed posterization of Amare recently was sick too!)  who do you think he plays like?

andris is a bit uncordinated when it comes to freethrows and even post moves, but when he makes his move his finish is so nice

A "mini" Bill Russel
even though Beans is taller then Russel, I think Barnett made a comment earlier this season as to Beadrins Presence in the middle was like Russel (quick to block shots) and his ability to be an active rebounder...(on a side note you think foyle helped Beans out during the off-season in shot blocking and timing?)

last season
there was no indication that I remember, that would make Beidrins as good a shot blocker as he is now...

foyle as biedrin's jedi master?
well, foyle did rack up a lot of personal fouls when he was a regular.  now andris seems to rack up just as many fouls.  so i suppose foyle could've gave him some pointers!  j/k.  i don't know that shot blocking can really be taught.  i think you either have the skill or you don't.  i guess you can try to teach a guy how to avoid being called for a foul as he attempts to block a shot.

i love it whenever
andris has opposing players around before he dunks...and instead of going for it, he ducks down for a split second while the others fly up in the air, then attacks the rim.

Yup!!!
It's funny watching guys bite...then they end up reaching in and beans gets the "and 1".  Beans misses his free through but a lane violation is called!!! Then that same big man who bit just got juked twice for stepping in early!!! Then Beans misses his other free throw...=( Happend like 20 times this year!!! I love that, except for the missed free throw parts...

he is so good
i love his game, but sometimes he rushes to much, but its all good, because i know he is trying his hardest to be that low post scoreing machine.

just wait
til he masters the art of the pump fake on both offense on defense. I noticed that on offense he doesn't pump that much, but the little crab dribbles do get defenders to bite. and on defense he bites a little too much on pump fakes, so once he gets even better cat-like reflexes he can block shots whenever he wants and be a beast in the post. and he's only 21! gotta love that too.
Ronald Reagan was a jerk.
