Nellie vs. Cuban - The attacks begin!!!

So this morning on the way to work, (which btw I ended up being late for cuz of this), they said Don Nelson would be on the Murph & Mac show in 2 mins.  So I waited in my car, and sure enough, (15 commercial minutes later), Nellie was on, funny as ever.

http://media.knbr.com/knbr/0419nelson.mp3

As usual, he was humorous and skirted around the serious questions well.  Then he got the ultimate one.  They asked him to talk about Chris Cohan, (I assume, post-many years of mistakes after Nellie left).  Gulp.  I was like how will he handle it?  "Well like his wife said, he's really matured since I left last time"  LOL, old man maturing?  Classic... but then... Nellie got hella serious for a while, and I realized what it was...

The beauty about Chris is he doesn't pretend to know what's going on- on the basketball court, and he let's his basketball people run the operation.   Usually, owners get real smart, even though they're dumber than rocks when they buy the team,  after a year or two they think they know everything ... I still don't know everything and I've been in it my whole life!  So anyways, that's the positive about Chris.

WOW! Who is he referring to I wonder?  Hmmmm could it possibly be the man who he is rumored to be in possible litigation with?  LOL.  Bring on the rivalry!!

P.S.  Great note on Jax, after the game, Baron made the cameras shut off in the locker room, and gave a pep talk that Nellie said even he couldn't come up with.  Then, Jax got up and said "Hey, I don't like NO coaches... but I LOVE this man" - Nellie said it's the best compliment he's ever received.

it's good to hear about the team chemistry
I'd rather have a team composed of players that have great chemistry over a stacked roster of talent any day. Which is what the Warriors have that the Mavs don't have. Sure the Mavs have an awesome game plan both offensively and defensively and excellent execution of their game plan, but it just seems like they dont have that team chemistry thing going on.

It seems like almost everyone on the Warriors would be lining up to take a bullet for each other or Nellie. I can't seem to say the same about Dallas... can anyone see someone on the Mavs lining up to take a bullet for Dirk or JET or Josh Howard or Avery?

Why?
Why do you have to sugar coat all your diary titles? You are just begging for people to look at everything you post around here.

Playoffs in '07, baby!

Re: Why?
Coma why are you such an ass? All you do is criticize other user's Diaries. Were you picked on as a kid or something? If you don't like a post/diary, just shut up and play with your ninja turtles. You bring so much negativity to this site that it gets irritating.

.....what?
They don't HAVE to read what he posts, if they don't want to. I don't get where your post comes from, at ALL.

Warriors are in the playoffs. Let's celebrate, and not pick random fights for no reason again.

Coma's bitter - I called him out earlier
...on being mean and attacking people for no reason, especially towards the end of this push and the clinching of the playoffs.  Coma is setting himself up to become a target on gsom cuz everyone's noticing it lol.

In the spirit of the Dubs, I'll give you a chance, make peace here, now, by apologizing, and I for one will forgive you a give you a fresh start.

Yup
Nice post. I was listening too. You can tell that Nellie is particularly proud of this season, and also that he is not content with a quick first round exit. And yea, he totally was referring to Cuban as a owner who doesn't know basketball, and sticks his nose is other stuff. I was laughin hard. I'm sure we'll hear from Cuban soon, can't wait. Ding Ding Ding, Let's get ready to RUUUUUMMMMMBLLLLLEEEEE!

Cuban....tool
at the Mavs game Tuesday night...he was sitting next to the Mavs bench. Everytime the Mavs scored he would take a sip of his water, get all giddy and look up at the scoreboard like they were about to mount a comeback or some shizzle. Uh dude, your down 30 something points!! It was classic.

What's with trying to incite these flame wars?

Remember man- 1 Dub. 1 Luv. That's how we do it around here. If you're not down with the GSoM style, it's all good. There's plenty of message boards around the net for you where that type of attitude and behavior is ok. This community is not that type of place.
