Here's this really interesting site I came across, thanks to a comment on the Fast Break blog. I don't know if anyone's seen it, but it charts the momentum each team has during a game. It also tracks the "impact" a player (especially a guy coming off the bench) has during his playing time, and adds/deducts points for each stint i.e.: shots made, turnovers, etc. Sort of like hockey.
When Barnes was in, the momentum graph shifted in our favor. He got 23 momentum points, the highest out of all players. Al got 21, Baron got 17, Jack got 12, JRich got 7, and Monta got -2.
Nowitzki got -20, Harris got -9, George got -12, Terry got -2, and Howard got 0.
When Diop and Dampier played for the little minutes they did, Diop got 8 and Damp got 0. Also, the graph shifts drastically in our favor when they were in.

The momentum runs were pretty balanced, right up until the end.
