F*** This. Game 3 is gonna be ROCKING.

I'm sure most of you were just shocked by the favoritism of calls by the refs tonight. I sure was. Especially with Baron and Jax getting those 2nd T's, Jax never did anything to warrant a first T in the first place. But, that is what you earn when you are a no.1 seed with the most wins in the league this year and as the returning Finals contenders.

Before the total meltdown, the Warriors definately stood a chance. Dallas never put them away until both Baron and Jax were out. This is a positive that we can take from this game.

I trust that Nellie will use his mastermind tactics to make adjustments for Game 3 and I am psyched.

I cannot wait till Friday, I am going to the game and I'm gonna go crazy. If people thought Dallas' fans were crazy... just you wait.

f***k
charles barkley, the refs, and the mavs who think they own the series now. free throw disparity? 18 more fts then the warriors. charles barkley is a f**kin idiot and the refs dont know what the hell they are doing. At the same time, Al and JR have to step it up big time. I would expect JR to have a big game before monta but that's not the case. We need everyone friday. I hope everyone who is going to the game loses their voices. Oh and please cuss out charles barkley at the game. Please. that has to be the biggest dumbass ever in life. he obviously favors big man because he was a big man. i actually have no idea why he's an analyst for TNT.

charles barkeley:
"Stephen Jackson reminds me of TO, he thinks he can play basketball"

Jax can definately ball. And he has a ring to prove it. Fatman is being his typical idiotic self.

WOW
How can he compare Jax to T.O.
  1. Jackson isn't a jerk like the national media (and Barkeley, apparently) thinks he is.
  2. He's a REALLY GOOD player who's very valuable to the team.
That's just unbelievable.

This is made more interesting
....when you consider Barkley himself never won a championship! Jealousy, anyone?

he swept the Warriros
out of the playoffs though and dropped like 50 on them

by Zig on Apr 25, 2007 9:47 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

True
But it took a humiliating Webber dunk for him to do it. Heh, maybe that's where all this animosity comes from.

Also: the Suns needed his 50 to beat the Warriors...I hear those games were actually pretty damn close.

Barkley
Barkley cannot even say something positive about his past team the Phoenix Suns. HOw can anyone expect him to say something positive about GSW? He is one of the most biased commentators I have seen.

by Vash01 on Apr 25, 2007 10:12 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Dallas fans weren't going crazy
I said this in the game thread, but I was just amazed that with 2 minutes left in a PLAYOFF game, 60% or more of the seats on camera were empty.

The game was over, but it's the playoffs. I just couldn't see that happening in Oakland.

THE ORACLE WILL BE ROCKING!!!! GO WARRIORS!!!

their fans
had to be coaxed into Defense chants by the PA announcer

I heard that
That was really weird. Especially when the announcer was the only one doing it.

So Sad
Dude has to pump up the crowd every time the Warriors take it down the court.

by orangino on Apr 25, 2007 9:41 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Oh Its A Wrap
People think that Dallas is crazy. Wait till people come to tha bay and see how it goes down. Im bout to be at tha game and I'm bout to go crazy. Barkley is a straight bitch, I hope he brings his fat ass 2 Oakland Arena. I swear he stay talkin. And tha Refs... Dont get me started, If Howard or Dirk clapped they would not get thrown out tha game. And them two have been hella complainin. But tha NBA doesnt want its marquee team out tha playoffs that quick. So in tha Oracle its goin down. To quote San Quinn Dallas is gonna get their Mask Cracked, and bitch ass Cuban.
I love 2 tell tha truth, but I'm such a Good Liar

seriously
the first T was garbage and then a 2nd to toss our best player with an entire quarter to go in a PLAYOFF game?  What a joke.

by dirrty on Apr 25, 2007 9:55 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Anyone ever step outside of being
a total homer and listen to anyone else?

The first Ts were BS.  The seconds weren't.  Over all the game was called fine.  The Warriors lost because they sucked tonight

If you aren't a Warriros fans knowing Steven Jackson's past and watching him act like an ass tonight what would you think?  I'd call him out too

by Zig on Apr 25, 2007 9:40 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

you're right
but if the first T's werent called, then the second ones wouldnt have happened. Thank you

The best thing about the Baron Davis ejection
He got to rest his knee tonight.  The fact that he only played two quarters should help him out with Friday's game... and hopefully it can translate into huge games for not only him, but for Richardson and Harrington!  We missed a lot of easy shots, gave up too many ticky-tac fouls, and didn't take advantage over their smaller guards.  We should have posted up Devin Harris and Jason Terry a hell ova lot more.  Now for the positives:
  • We still were able to distract Dirk.  He only came up with 23 points, which is far less than what you would expect from your MVP... and it was a very quiet 23.  Hopefully Dirk can come out with no energy again the next game.
  • We were able to draw fouls on the Mavs early... which is HUGE!  They were driving in (especially Stephen Jackson) and were able to gain respect from the refs, although it was only in the first half.  The best part... we converted on over 90% of our free throws.
  • We still have home-court advantage!  No matter what happened this game, we still stole on away from their home court.  Now let's show the Mavs what real noise is and ROCK THE ORACLE!
  • We got to see Adonal Foyle's first playoff points!!!  Man was that a nice pass from Cabbages and a great finish by Foyle.  He waited about 8 years to play in the playoffs... and he got to play.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

by mightymadskillz on Apr 25, 2007 9:47 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Wow!
You really are a positive thinker!  Great that Baron got to rest his knee?  LOL.

Really, I'm trying to look at it as: they had some great plays from Monta (who didn't get near the attention he should have from the TNT commentators), they held the fired-up Mavs to a pretty much tied up score the first half and our guys got to blow their stack in a game that they were probably going to lose anyway.

Hopefully Stephen won't get suspended and Nellie will have some long talks with the hot-heads before the next game.

I can't wait to watch the next game (on TV) at the Oracle where REAL fans show up.  The noise will be deafening.  The Warriors will feel the love.

9 and 24
We lost because we did not move the ball.  Only 9 assists? The warriors are best when they get open looks off a pass than when they try to create their own jumpers. I liked that they were taking it to the hole a lot, but they've also got to do a better job looking for the dish and getting open when people penetrate.

And then take care of the ball.  There were a few bad calls by the refs, but there were a LOT of bad bonehead turnovers.

That did not look like the Warriors team I've been watching the last few weeks. They'll be back on Friday.

how can you guys think g.s can beat us?  you guys barely made it in, if it wasn't for the clippers being worse than you guys in the last week.
