Nellie fines Davis & Jackson?

Heard Bob Fitzgerald say that the warriors have fined(undisclosed amounts) Baron Davis & Stephen Jackson.

This is a good move since Nellie is sending a message
to the team that you cannot lose control, whoever you may be.

Also this may be a preemptive strike to prevent further actions from the league?

LOL
i think that would be a good idea so that the league doesn't give them any suspensions :)

I just hope this doesn't backfire...
like what happened with T.O. and Mariucci.

Maybe more for the league's benefit
Nellie doesn't need fines and things to communicate with his players.  He'll just sit them down and say look you @#$%^&ers!  Knock it off!  Alright, now group hug.  Scotch for everybody.

Not Nellie
Nellie can't impose a fine on the players. The fines come from the team not the coach.

coach on knbr
the nellie show is on knbr right now... he assured razor that neither baron or jax will be suspended, but coach did say he thinks the league will fine them and if they do not, he will.

Don't take the title literally
The title was just to attract attention. Of course I know coaches don't fine players. But I'm pretty sure Nellie was behind this thing. He didn't look too pleased in the press conference and his displeasure seemed to stem from the loss of control by Baron & Jax

his displeasure seemed to stem
" from the loss of control by Baron & Jax"

Guess that's easier than explaining why he dint change the game plan when he saw it needed tweaking?

respect
the players love nellie because he treats them like men.

what that means is that he tells it like it is.  if they do good, he shows them love ---  if they don't do good, he tells them how to do better  --- and if they f'up, he has to discipline them.   no favorites.

if there is trust among the team...nellie has to discipline them.  he can walk up to them and say "bd and jax, we all love you, but you broke the rules of the team...so we're gonna take care of that like this...and move on"

some coaches are all about the stick and some coaches are all about the love.  nellie does it the right way...and uses both in the appropriate situations.
