Ricky's vs Englander

If your sitting at the bar the Englander is better. Beside that Ricky's is way better. Ricky's has six screens bigger than the one big screen the Englander has. Five are about the same size just widescreen and one is like 9'x12'. Ricky's can seat so many more people than the Englander. I would like to hear from others on their thoughts on these two places. Which place do you like better and why. If you've only been to one what is it you like about that one. I'll be at Ricky's tonight. Where will you be?

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

city beach in fremont
I'm gonna try to go there and see if i can catch the game there. Not sure what the atmosphere will be like, but I wanted to stay local

San Leandro
Both Ricky's and The Englander our in San Leandro. City Beach rocks, but I don't know what it's like to watch a game there.

I'm...
I'm a big fan of the Englander. Best place to watch football for sure. That being said, I've never been to Ricky's and I do plan on going. So my opinion is pretty biased here.

Playoffs in '07, baby! *It Happened.*

Trust me
You will find Ricky's to be better. The 3 main rooms(there is some small side rooms) each have more tv's than the Englander. You can see every game that's on. Sometimes there are more tv's than games. But for  beer the Englander puts Ricky's to shame. I just wish I could order a beer from the Englander while I hang out at Ricky's.
