Ultimate Standings: Fan Satisfaction Rankings
I was read the Ultimate Standings: Fan Satisfaction Rankings article on espn.com. They did a ranking of 122 pro sports teams based on what they give back to fans who invest their time and money in the organization.
The categories they based the rankings on are:
Bang for the Buck: Revenues directly from fans divided by wins in the past three years
Fan Relations: Ease of access to players, coaches & management
Ownership: Honesty; loyalty to players and city
Affordability: Price of tickets, parking and concessions
Stadium Experience: Friendliness of environment; quality of game-day promotions
Players: Effort on the field; likability off it
Coach/Manager: Strong on-field leadership
Title Track: Titles already won or expected -- soon

The Warriors are ranked 89 out of 122. Apparently they were ranked 58 last year.
When a product is the cheapest thing on the market but still considered expensive by the consumer, that's a bad sign. So it is with Golden State, owners of the lowest-average ticket ($23.82) and season ($1,669.12) prices in the NBA - and wretched marks for Affordability. Granted, any outlay on a team that hasn't made the playoffs since 1993-94 and has averaged only 27 wins a season over the past 10 years can be considered suspect. Owner Chris Cohan brought back the popular Don Nelson to coach, but unless he comes with a time machine, bad play and bad signings (Adonal Foyle???) could keep the Warriors in hoops hell. How would you rank the Dubs according to these categories? This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!
