I can dream can't I?

I was bored, Friday needs to come sooner

Anyhow I believe it is based on current standings. But I could be wrong. But say we fought hard all the way to the last day, but the clippers/nuggets matched us win for win. If this somehow happened,I mean you never know, would you be upset that the warriors missed the playoffs?

Or is it playoffs or bust, #1 pick means nothing.

well
While i think Oden is a better fit for us, Durant is still way better overall.

How many times
Did you have to spin it to get that result?

I'd take Oden or Durant over a cameo playoff appearance. But I'd take a cameo playoff appearance over a 1% shot at Oden or Durant...

whoop
thats supposed to be 137

by llamalimbo1 on Apr 5, 2007 2:30 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

it took about 100 or so attempts
to get the warriors @ #1, i got them @ #3 after 5 clicks or so though.

llamalimbo1, I don't know either. I've seen various mock nba drafts and everyone seems to put Noah in the top 5 or so. I forgot which site had it but they had his nba comparison as Andrei Kirilenko. Noah can't shoot past 5 feet. how they make that comparison is beyond me. Only similarity I see is that they both have european parents.

if
the warriors do make a cameo appearance in this year's playoffs, expect the oracle to be absolutely crazy. i'd watch the game just to see how the crowd reacts. But on the other hand, if the warriors don't make the playoffs, you can argue that this year's mediocre season was worse than last year's mediocre season. Mainly because we would be left out of the lottery and out of the playoffs at the same time, with our remaining money issues. There are definite positives of this season over last season, but the end results are all the same...if they fail to make the playoffs.
Just for fun, here's my mock:
  1. Memphis   - Greg Oden
  2. Boston    - Kevin Durant
  3. Milwaukee - Brandon Wright
  4. Phoenix   - Al Horford
  5. Charlotte - Roy Hibbert
  6. Phila     - Joakim Noah
  7. Portland  - Mike Conley
  8. Seattle   - Yi Jian Lian
  9. Sac       - Corey Brewer
10.Chicago   - Spencer Hawes

Better than Tank
I don't understand how this season could ever be considered a disappointment.  We were able to get rid of Murphy AND Dunleavy, our young players have all gotten plenty of play IN games that actually matter (and performed well) and we finally got a feeling of what its like to push for the playoffs.  The players finally seem to be able to understand Don Nelson's system offensively AND defensively which will only help our team going into next season.  Plus all of our players should be able to get an entire Nellie training camp in, another plus.  Honestly, I am so much happier seeing this than another year of 6-10 pick and getting a guy who MIGHT be a good complimentary player but not a difference maker, especially immediately.  Plus Don could always trade back up into that spot to grab someone he likes (give me Jeff Green!).

I just did it 15 times
and the friggin Kings won it 3 times?!?  That would be my worst nightmare if those guys got Oden.

by yehyeh82 on Apr 5, 2007 4:42 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Yeah!
It only took me 41 times to win Oden.  Send me to the lottery, baby!

ifjsdwjef
no offense, but wha? if the result is the OP's dream, i'd much rather have greg oden than playoffs this year. oden = potential title contender. w's havent been that since the late 70s.

it could mean that
i want greg oden, but i dont want to lose in order to get a chance at him.
