While watching the Cavs-Heat game yesterday, they pointed out an interesting stat. With (I want to say...) 341 fast break points this season, LeBron James is second place in the NBA.
Seemed ordinary enough until the commentator said "It may surprise you that Golden State's Monta Ellis actually leads the league in this category."
Go Ellis to the Rim! Though a seldom mentioned one, that is simply an incredible stat for someone so young. To beat out the players like James, Kobe, Nash, Marion, etc. is a testament to his talent, speed, hustle, and ability to finish.
Also, given that the Warriors lead the league in fast break points, it proves that Ellis fits perfectly on this team and that he NEEDS to be re-signed.
