Frustrating

It seems like the teams ahead of us can't lose. There's only 6 games left. I'm still holding hope that we might pull it out but if we miss the playoffs again this year. What season record would you be satisfied with? It was rollercoaster season thinking we were out of it when they had that horrible east coast road trip.
I'll be satisfied with a .500 record this year if we miss the playoffs. Would u guys be satisfied with anything other than the playoffs?

yes
i am encouraged by this year regardless. Don't get me wrong, I will be very disappointed if we don't get in, but you have to look at the way we are ending this year and be proud

Remember Baron's first year here?
We came on like gangbusters at the end the end of the season, raising everyone's hopes for a real Ws renaissance ... and then we fell back to mediocrity. I think this team has a ton of promise for next year, but you never know. Baron hurts his knee or a team like New Orleans emerges as a serious playoff contender -- and it's yet another season out of the playoffs.

Which I guess is a long way of saying: I'm totally proud of what we're doing right now, too, but if we miss the playoffs, it won't really count for much. I may find some solace in our improved play over the closing stretch, but I'll still be totally, totally bummed.

In other words: Goddamn Fvcking Clippers! Lose a few fvcking games, will you?

not only is it the clippers that are screwing us
but its the fvckers (fakers and fuggets)

Yeah
there is an entire possibility that we are worse next season.

Fart.
Honestly, if they play like the starting 5 has played next year (actually winning games on the road, and staying hot at home), there's really no reason to assume they wont make the playoffs next year.

I mean you can say "ohhhh i just think they won't.", but at this point it's more realistic to stay positive than negative. And don't worry folks, we're gonna tie them tonight after we crush the Spurs.

Playoffs in '07, baby!

Yeah, What happened?  Why can't we play that way all the time?

HOW FRUSTRATING?
Check this out:

Denver beats Dallas for the first time this year. A time where Dallas was trying hard for 70 wins.

THe Lakers win against the sonics, where kobe was doing his thing. But for some reason couldnt do that against the CLippers or Nuggets (previous 2 games) They must hate the warriors.

The kings come back from almost 20 down to beat the Jazz, something they came close to, but failed against the nuggets the other night.

Somehow, the warriors cant get a break

playoffs or bust
how can anyone feel satisfied with less after all these years?!

Nuggets at Clippers - am I a Nugget fan? you betcha
(we aren't catching them anyhow now ...)

After Nuggets, Clippers play at Mavs, at Hornets, at Lakers, home vs. Blazers and Kings, then at Suns before finishing at home vs. Hornets. We need some HELP! I think the Kings and/or Blazers need to beat Clips for us to have a chance.

We're at Spurs then home vs. Jazz - two very tough games - then at Kings, home vs. Twolves and Mavs, finishing at Portland. I think that Jazz game will be the difference maker.

Have to believe
the Clippers will come back down to earth with Hart playing 35-40 minutes a game at the point.

In fact, when Cassell went down, I thought the warriors were in.  But the Clips have been even hotter than us lately so I don't know what to think anymore.

The Lakers must be part of the conspiracy to keep the dubs out of the playoffs:

  • First they loose to the two teams we're chasing (after beating us).
  • Then they lose to the Suns- If they had beaten the Suns, then San Antonio would have pulled closer to Phoenix and that last game the Suns play, against the clippers would have a greater chance of being an important game for the Suns.
Oh well.

no way
if we dont get into the playoffs, even with a .500 record, its not a good sign. we will have the 13 yr curse on the Warriors, unless the front office makes some big transactions like brining Rashard Lewis or Vinsanity or some star, preferable a center! Go Warriors and make a deal with someone!

I wish we kept Agent 0 and let go of J-Rich a couple yrs back. Who Agrees?

I'll be frustrated
I'll be quite frustrated if we don't make the playoffs this year. Like many seasons before, we have been horrifically inconsistent. On some stretches, we looked like we're tanking the season for a 13th straight playoff drought. On other stretches, we looked like we're serious on going beyond expectations. I would really love to see us make the playoffs. We only have that legitimate goal to accomplish. As I see other teams, they have to improve on either prolonging their playoff berths or winning the whole thing. If we make the playoffs, there's just another reason for the Bay to go hyphy.
