it's in the air. slacker students are studying the rules they should have known long ago, getting ready for the day of judgment. it's a competitive culture, and we have to keep an eye on our peers to make sure they comply with the honor code. we know we are graded on a curve, and we are worried that that guy behind us, who is not quite as smart but is plucky and consistent, may sneak ahead of us for the A-. and we do have a road map for success, if everything goes as well as planned.
