Pietrus bounces back?
We may be down 2-0, but with 2 straight at home, I still feel good, and feel extremely confident we will bounce back and win game 3.
However, after a tough sequence at the stripe that know one needs to be reminded about, can Mickael Pietrus bounce back?
Probably the biggest knock on Pietrus' is his mental game. He sometimes has a low basketball IQ, and his confidence is easily shaken. With Monta Ellis already struggling, we cannot win this series with the absence of Pietrus, as that knocks us to a 6-man rotation, and loses one of our best rebounders.
So my question is, after arguably losing game 2 for us, how does Pietrus respond in game 3? Some of his early-season traveling and stepping out of bounds with his first step in the corner? Coming off the bench for some clutch 3s and big boards? Or just sitting on the bench, still dwelling on wednesday night?
Keep ya head up, Mickael, it's a whole new game tomorrow!

I know this thread is about Pietrus
Sloan has changed a bit in the last few years, but he used to be stalwart about letting all the fresh potential atrophy on the bench. Young, talented guys never got a chance, and they would end up going elsewhere. This always bothered me. Perhaps I am not seeing this situation correctly, but it seems similar (not the same - but similar)
Monta has too much talent to ride the pine for 46 minutes a game.

SKILLZ
MONTA still has a chance to learn that, but after 4 years already, PIETRUS still hasn't learned the game! That's what's sooooo frustrating w/ him! He is wild and out of control on the floor, but sometimes it works on D, but definitely not on offense!
MONTA didn't play too bad when he was out there! I think that foul that took him out wasn't that bad. He picked the ball from BOOZER I think, but the call didn't go his way! I just don't want him to tilt his head to the side like he does when his game isn't on! It's annoying and he needs to keep his head UP! He's not confident in himself right now. That's how AL was, but look at him now!
I think NELLIE should put MONTA on DERON more and let BARON work on breaking down the JAZZ D!
