Shift to the other series

I know we are all a bit concerned about the Jazz right now, but I saw something to good not to post on.  An article on ESPN talked about Amare Stoudemire calling Bruce Bowen a dirty player.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs2007/news/story?id=2866789&campaign=rss&source=NBAHead lines
It talks about a youtube link so i hunted that down for everyone.

So now it's time to ask, cause there is a possibility that the Warriors could end up playing the Spurs and Bowen, do you think Bruce Bowen is a dirty player?? I'd hate to see Baron or JR come down on his foot and sprain an ankle.

Star-divide

IMO - Bowen doesnt try to intentionally hurt players, however he plays in a way that greatly increases the chance of an injury occuring.  Im not sure if thats ok or not, I personally can't stand watching the Spurs anyway because their games are so boring and Ginobili walks all the time (maybe only most of the time).

Is Bruce Bowen a dirty player?
Hell yea

No - Stoudemire is overreacting, as were Ray Allen, Steve Francis, and Isiah Thomas

He just makes some risky plays, thats not dirty

yeah
Don't look past the Jazz yet.  TMac always looks past his 1st round opponents and that's why he doesn't advance.  Let's focus on the here and now.

Tmac
Does he play all alone against a 5-member team?

It's not just Tmac. It's the team he plays on.

Ask TMac
He said it himself.  If they lose the series "...it's on me."

and another thing...
Out of the 5 guys on the team, TMac is the only one that said "it feels good be in the second round" before he even made it.  That was when he played for Orlando.  That's what i call looking past your opponent.

And then before the Houston/Utah series was even over, McGrady again said something like "i'm glad to have teammates that can finally get me to the second round".  Looking past his oppenent again.

Let's not be stupid enough to do that.

Bowen
Have you watched that video where Bowen kicked Amare when Amare was in the air for the dunk? There is no way it was an accident. Bowen was trying to hurt Amare Stoudemire and he should not be excused, particularly given his history. There are other video clips that show what he did to other players.

Stu Jackson
...should be fined. Seriously, how to you [expletive] that up? He was a crappy coach, and he's a crappy (read: inconsistent) disciplinarian. Talk about caught in the cookie jar -- there's no amount of excuse or explanation for that kick-swipe he pulled on Amare. What surprises me most is that it's been years and the other shoe still hasn't dropped. I keep waiting for Bowen to get a taste of his own, but to this point I don't know that anybody's stuck out a leg and kicked him or undercut him. Talk about lucky. The dude's been racking up a sizable karmic tab for years; if it's ever collected on, it won't be pretty.

No doubt in my mind
that the Warriors will still make a series out of this, but...

...to completely look past a team that has GS in an 0-2 hole is, well...

...ballsy.  To say the least.
