New Blog: Sounder At Heart for Seattle Sounders Fans!

proudest fans in the world

ahh... it's a strange feeling coming out of a season ending loss, and not feeling one ounce of sadness.       I can't even begin to explain how proud i am of you, warriors.  You proved everyone wrong out there.  we beat all odds, all the haters, we pretty much beat everyone except ourselves.  we've earned so much respect from around the country in the last 3 months, its incredible.  this season was full of so many up and downs, i thought i was going to go crazy. that last month and a half of the regular season will be engraved in my mind forever, and will go down as the greatest playoffs runs ive witnessed in my life.  being at all the home games against dallas, man.... what a thrill.  it felt like my highschool games all over again standing up every play and cheering everytime down the court.  if i suddenly died tonight, i would die a happy man.  and that is all thanks to the warriors... thank you guys, from the bottom of my heart.

Also, now we have next season to look foward too! i dont know about you guys but im very excited to see what goes down for the warriors.  i see a great athletic big man in our future to complete our team once n for all.

i agree
this is the least upset i've felt about a warrior loss in a long time. ironic since it's the loss that ended the warrior season. but i guess i just know that they weren't even supposed to be here, and that next year should be even more incredible

i'm proud of what they've accomplished this season... and to bring the excitement back to the bay area speaks volumes... i'm definitely looking forward to more of this for years to come... as a former warrior once said,"UNSTOPPABLE, BABY!"

this was
the toughest loss for me in 13 years, but i say that in a good way, i had almost forgotten what it was like to have my team to be in the playoff mix. i have been saying every year for the past 10 or so that this was the year we got back in it. what a great time to be a Warrior fan.

more of the same
I've been fuming mad after each of the other losses this series and the one in Dallas, but I just can't get mad about this one. Now that the season is actually over, I'm just thankful for the amazing ride the guys took us on and for leaving their hearts out there on the court every night. They surpassed all of our wildest expectations. And while it's definitely disappointing to think that had just a few balls bounced differently we might be advancing to the Conference Finals, I couldn't be prouder of how they played.

And thanks to all of GSOM for the positivity and fanatacism that make Warriors fans the best in the league. I can't wait for next season. This is just the beginning.
