New Blog: Backing the Pack for NC State Fans!

Thanks...

Plenty of thanks to go around for everyone...

Star-divide

Thanks to Mully for bringing Nelly back. I grew up watching Nelly-ball and it's great to get to watch it again. And thanks for getting rid of Dunleavy and Murphy and bringing in Jackson and Harrington.

Thanks to Nelly for give up his lazy days lounging around in retirement. It was great having him and his Bud Lights back in the Bay where they belong.

Thanks to Jason Richardson for the monster jams and the sweet mid-range jumpers; for the back to back dunk titles to help give us something to be excited about in the lean years; for the increased defensive intensity in the latter half of the year.

Thanks to Stephen Jackson for the intensity; for helping Baron carry the weight when he needed the backup; for some clutch free throw shooting when we really needed it; for appreciating getting a new lease on life and taking all the BS reputation calls with a grain of salt.

Thanks to Andris Biedrins for making huge strides towards being a serviceable big man; for having the most comically horrendous free throw form I've ever seen.

Thanks to Matt Barnes for the instant energy; for the scrappy plays and constant hustle; for guarding guys 80 pounds heavier and far more talented; for not listening to Mo Cheeks' ignorant ass. Hope we see you back here next year.

Thanks to Jessica Alba for being a Warriors fan. And for being really really ridiculously good looking.

Thanks to Mickael Pietrus for some solid defensive play; for getting big rebounds and stops all year long; for the occasional flashes of the greatness we hope to see more and more of in the coming years.

Thanks to Monta Ellis for making a huge leap in play from last year; for driving fearlessly to the hoop over and over again; for overcoming his awful Dallas series to help contribute to the Utah series; for being only 21 and having plenty of years left to show us what he can do.

Thanks to Al Harrington for playing some tough D on Boozer; for draining more open treys than most F/C's have a right to; for not getting discouraged by his terrible Dallas series and giving it his all against Utah; for helping us get rid of Mrs. Dunleavy.

Thanks to Sarunas Jasikevicius for making me laugh every time the camera cut to the Warriors bench. I don't think anyone got more excited after a made basket or a crucial steal than Sarunas. Some people pout when they're the 10th man in an 8 man rotation - some people lose their freakin' minds every time one of their teammates makes a play.

Thanks to Azubuike, Zarko, Adonal, POB and Powell for cheering on the bench all playoffs long; for being either the future of the team or the trading chips for Mully to go after that rebounder that could make the difference in next year's playoffs.

Thanks to the Oracle crowds for carrying the Warriors to victory at the end of the regular season and against Dallas; for deservedly earning the reputation as the greatest fans in the NBA. Thanks for believing.

And lastly, thanks to Baron for being the unquestionable heart of the team; for all the impossible layups and the mind-blowing clutch threes; for playing through the pain; for posterizing Kirilenko with the sickest dunk of the year; for carrying the team on his back time and time again; for refusing to lose; for regaining the explosiveness that I haven't seen since his freshman year in college. Get some rest and get some ice for those knees. And that back. And those hamstrings. And everything else that's probably going to be sore for the next few months. Thanks for making us all believe.

Until next year, go Dubs.

Impostor!
It's cool that this site has two guys with "teagle" in the handle.

And I echo all of the thank yous in your post.

Still annoyed that we drafted Tod Fuller

Damn, I've been found out
Heh, I swear I wasn't trying to bite your handle. We both just have great taste in obscure old school Warriors.
