That's Amare (acquiring Stoudemire?)

It's a pretty well-substantiated rumor that Amare Stoudemire is a little out of sorts with Phoenix and Mike D'Antoni.  Who knows why, but apparently he doesn't quite fit in with that team quite as much as he should.

That being the case, and since Phoenix has a high lottery pick this year, I wouldn't be all that surprised if they would consider moving him.  Yes, he's young; but he's also a potential injury risk, has chemistry problems with the team or the system, and stands to make a ton of money soon.

Of course, none of those factors would deter me from putting him in our starting lineup.  He's an absolute beast of a player, can run the floor for a guy his size, and I think he would fit in really well both with our style of play and in the Bay Area.  From what I've read, he's sort of an eccentric, always wearing crazy threads and basically doing his own thing; which I think would really be embraced by Warriors fans.

So...what would it take?  Acknowledging that I love this current Warrior team and would hate to see anyone go, acquiring Stoudemire could really improve us by giving us a rebounding and post presence we've pretty much never had.  I think the player Phoenix would most covet would be Monta: what's your response to Monta/Harrington/18th pick for Stoudemire/cap equalizing fodder?

By the way, thanks to the Warriors for giving me one of the most enjoyable runs of fandom I've ever had.  I love this team, and I am so proud.  I hope my looking ahead doesn't come off as being disgruntled; I'm just throwing this out as a discussion starter.
