Post Game 5 Links (Round 2)

Well, that really was something wasn't it? Can you believe the Warriors finished the 2006-2007 NBA regular season on a 16-5 run to snatch the final seed in the Wild, Wild West? Can you believe the 13 year curse is finally over? Can you believe the Warriors pulled off the biggest upset in NBA history? Can you believe the Warriors battled tough and hung in there even though they were physically and emotionally drained against a bigger and stronger Jazz ballclub?

WE BELIEVE.

Nellie...
we'd love it if you stay, but please don't pull another Billy Owens/Mitch Richmond in the offseason!

The Baron Davis Outfit
Sounds like a good name for a jazz band!

Here's the Babelfish translation for that HoopNation story in German...

The end of the Cinderella story May 16, 2007 RKS 8:11 to · put down under NBA the Playoffs 2007 Now the Utah jazz stands thus in the Western Conference Finals. Whereupon nobody would probably have bet, just as little as on the fact that those would strike golden State Warriors the Dallas Mavericks. The Utah jazz was in the complete series simply the more compact team and could without pressure play completely. The Warriors however wanted to now show really that the victory was earned against Dallas. Now the series went along however with 4:1 and a victory of 100-87 in Utah to end. In the press conference (which one should look at alone because of baron Davis Outfit) one heard of Don Nelson that the Puplikum would have been nearly still louder probably in Utah, as the own in Oakland. He would not have ever experienced sowas in his coach career. Perhaps that was the reason, why the Warriors in the last quarter made only 14 points. Perhaps there in addition, 36% from the field were plus the 20% of the three-line (which probably more closely is appropriate). But one should not the achievement of the Warriors underestimate and now luck against the Dallas Mavericks call. They never gave also in the last play against the Utah jazz and always were to before all up emontional with the thing. One may not forget that the Warriors reached the first time now for 12 years again the Playoffs. What comes now however to San Antonio or the Phoenix Suns? A strong, physical crew approximately around Deron Williams, really the chance has to create it into the NBA Finals. With the second play there was no decision. The Bulls could win their important play in Detroit with 108-92 to win. Matchwinner: Ben Gordon with 28 points, where however with Detroit Pistons nobody came over the 20 point mark. Decision postpones, but still a 3:2 guidance for the Pistons.

Here's a look at a fictional night out for the Warriors where they fell into some bad habits:
